1996 film - Billy Bob Thornton wrote, directed and starred in this.
A real slow burner but wonderful. The acting is top notch and it's incredibly engaging.
8/10.
Great film. (He looks older in this than he does in the series Fargo! - 18 years later)http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117666/?ref_=nv_sr_1

I watched A Walk Among the Tombstones and thought it was alright, 6.5/10. Really F'ing dark though! I reckon it should've been an 18.
A Most Wanted Man 7/10 - Preferred this to Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

The Dark Knight Rises
I think this film series must be one of the most overrated of all time. It's ok, but it's not the great cinematic masterpiece that loads of people seem to make it out to be...
Interstellar & Inception also left me cold.I think this film series must be one of the most overrated of all time. It's ok, but it's not the great cinematic masterpiece that loads of people seem to make it out to be...
Can't help thinking that Nolan peaked around the time of The Prestige/TDK & is now in decline.

Fury road.
Hmmm I really don't get the hype over this. Perhaps a second viewing might help.
Tom hardy was wasted. Might as well gave not been there.mshould have called it tetchy furiosa road.
There was one plus, Nicholas Hoult I thought was excellent. 5/10
I agree, and it doesn't.Hmmm I really don't get the hype over this. Perhaps a second viewing might help.

Untrue, I assume I just rarely agree with you based on your comment? Doesn't make either of us wrong as that's just the way subjectivity works.

Style over substance again I'm afraid. It looked great, action was fabulous I just didn't care for any of the characters. Max wasn't present. Didn't care if any of the women fell under a truck. Thought the old birds at the end were interesting.
I think though I might rate it higher after another view. Re watched mm2 again yesterday and it has so much more to it. Not just a chase.
