And there we have it Ladies and Gents, it's over - deader than a dead thing.
To summarise the last 3 episodes:
The boys take a modern, sorta cool car (Wrangler) that's a but of TLC away from a normal, see a dozen a day in the US and bolt on a load of lick-on-stick-on after market stuff from Dennis' shop - I'd call it a 'half build episode' at best.
Then the boys look at some cool cars, but don't buy them and sell a load of junk from previous episodes - nothing gets worked on, other than a quick episode of 'Tom and Jordan Show' when they get to start.
And finally, it's Gas Monkey does Rude Tube / World's Craziest Crashes 29 / You've been framed.
It's just 30 mins now (after ads and recaps / previews) of adverts for Gas Monkey BnG and Dennis' Parts business - they don't even have the decency to go to Sue's, who's always worth a laugh.

They need to drastically reduce the length of a series.
Can only assume Discovery are milking its popularity.
Might be onto something there - I had a quick look at Wiki, I was amazed - I assumed it had been running in the US for a few years and we were catching up - but they will be part way though the 5th series on their second anniversary in June! 50+ Episodes in 2 years! Easily doable when each episode covers 'this week at GMG' Oh, and this week's episode was crap. Surely everyone with internet has seen pretty much all those clips before (though can never tire of watching that boat crash).
Richard Rawlings did a bit of a Q&A on this Reddit thread and although you can't take things as gospel he is quite addament that it's a legitamte business and that the 'business' aspects of what you see are real. Though obviously it's carefully edited.
He's quite open that all the money from the TV show goes back into the business and that things are sometimes filmed after events, such as negotiations on cars, when he's already made the deal off camera. I think that's all fair.

There were a few clips I hadn't seen, but the thing that got on my nerves the most; that stupid sofa being in front of the clips.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
