explains some of the activity on the FnL twitter account last night, lots abuse but in a very promotional way.

Pretty much.

If you liked the old idiot characters like Tom, then this is for you.

It was in directly after F&L last night and I turned it off after about 15 minutes.

Yet another of a seemingly endless stream of crap car shows that consist of a bunch of tattoed 'dudes' monkeying around and 'arguing' a lot in front of the camera with nothing more than an ocasssional shot of somebody doing something to a car.......probably. wink

I watched the 2nd of the Pikes Peak episodes last night. I don't believe for one moment that they finished the Pace Truck the night before the race. But it was a good build nonetheless.

Aaron seemed to do well in the race itself. But as he himself said, he didn't really stand much of a chance against a Radical that weighed half as much as his Galaxy but had almost as much power. Still, it was quite interesting.

So, from what others have said, that was the last "proper" episode then? And any after that are "clips & compilations" shows?

I watched the latest Microbus episode last night, it was OK, apart from the last 10 minutes, I turned it off (again) cringeworthy.

The cameos from the "Misfits" garage is painful. Shame when the car stuff and build lark is otherwise back to form.

I do like how RR pretends to be skint, yet can blow (apparently) $125k on a building on a whim.

I said last year it was all getting a bit 'american chopper'. Now we will have a rival garage with the usual formulaic faux argumental guff to go with it. Poor fayre indeed.

I can see why the english stuff is starting to do so well.

I haven't bothered watching it since the Pikes Peak pt2 episode. Has there been anything since that one worth watching or is it all clips shows and the like?

They're mid build on a pickup truck that is pretty cool, although you have to put up with the other garage scenes that the production crew seem to be trying to force on us.

Is that on the current series thats being aired in the US? After the pikes peak ones we have had three clips shows (none of which I watched) and now the series has ended on Discovery UK.

Haven't brought my self to watch the clip shows, but I did just hammer 5 seasons of the U.S. Topgear and found that pretty entertaining

The series continues tomorrow night i think (on discovery UK), my series link dropped off at the start of the clips shows and hadn't come back, so had to set it to record again.

Glad I spotted that, didn't watch any of the clip shows - frankly watching that Evo go off the road at Pikes Peak 374 times during the two PP episodes was enough YouTube action for me.
