I liked the flashback to their first date. As she approached his table he shouted out "HOT!" and then "Like to do her one!". Nothing like getting your feelings known smile.

Does anyone know why sufferers of Tourettes usually only shout swear words or abusive language? Why don't they shout "puppies" or "chips" or summat?
On that Good News comedy show, there was a female comedian with tourettes. She said some hilarious sentences, but very little if any swearing.

I don't much about Tourette's, and what I do know comes from watching shows like this!
Swearing uncontrollably is fairly rare. Most Tourette sufferers have facial ticks, ie they have involuntary "spasms".
There was a lady with tourettes last series who didn't swear but used to blurt out "thunder cats" quite a lot smile

She was funny.
I think Thunder cats was her changing the words before it came out as fu...?
IIRC, she also batted for both sides, so double the chances of a date.

One memorable episode was when a young guy, also with Tourette's, proposed to his g/f he'd met and dated through the programme. His Tourette's became worse the more nervous he became, so he was stting bricks as he prepared to propose, which made things more difficult for those around him who didn't know what was going on. I think.....

Looked like it.

Has Lucas been on before? He seems familiar, maybe been on another show.

Apart from Frank Spencer I can't think who James reminds me of, I think he'd be fun though as he's got a wicked sense of humour.

It's that moment where you just sitting there fingers crossed that it goes well. James is such a lovely chap, just so happy and upbeat.

Biscuit was ace.

So James, he was funny, loved his impersonations...where were his parents?

Lucas, I knew he'd be tormented relentlessly at school, poor lad, his self-worth is obviously tied up in years of abuse and bullying from tts.

Another superb episode of this wonderfully emotional, heartfelt and feel good show. I'm sure there are many people out there who, like me at first, thinks it's going to be a freak fest which as we know it is far from. I must admit though that the autism/tourettes/asperger sufferers really make the show however, I do find myself laughing at them occasionally which I sometimes feel a bit guilty about although I really don't think they'd mind.
