Now they're steering clear of contentious social issues it's not been bad so far. Though it was a bit far-fetched this time : they find a mark on a body, conclude it's from a cast manhole cover, walk into a storm drain and decide that the first manhole cover they find is the site where the body was. Surely there would be many, many manhole covers leading into the storm drain, all the same, any of which could have been the dump site. I know, would be boring if they showed them checking all of them, but still.

I'm still not entirely sure what the resolution was to be honest.

The mother was shagging the brother who killed the daughter because she found out?

Why did the female friend cop it? And the other lad for that point?

He was killing any woman that left him or his brother.

He first killed his mum when he was a kid because she was going to run off.
He killed Ruth because she found out about him and the mum (Alison) and if Ruth said anything then he would lose Alison.
He killed his brothers girlfriend (forget name) because she just dumped him and was going to leave the brother high and dry.

The guy was just collateral by being in the wrong/right place.

I think.

Well that was boring. The usual end of season jolly to foreign lands where surprise surprise Miss Dopey Bint gets involved in st she has no business being involved with.

First time ever I'm not going to bother watching the second part. And I'm thinking of starting a petition for renaming this programme "Silent stness".

Got a bit miffed with last weeks one when he said the tyre marks were 265 wide and that would be a large SUV. Xtrail is 215-225 and is a small-med suv.

I'm going to watch just because there is no way a Mexican cartel would allow an interfering, highly annoying, busy body like her to live. Fingers crossed they replace her next series!

They really have jumped the shark with this. So many implausible holes in the plot it defies belief.

I'm out to night but won't be watching it on catch up.

Good face tattoos on matey boy though, you don't see that often.

Mrs Eldar was amused that insulin syringe was far too big, and emptied and refilled magically. Poor continuity.

Was trying to place Raquel Cassidy. She was Jack Dee's wife in Lead Balloon. Might watch a couple of episodes of that when part 2 is on.

I thought they'd switched to a coffee advert, then I remembered it was the BBC.

It's a total rip off of a real documentary about the cartels in Mexico.

I'm sure we'll see in the next episode that the leader of that anti-cartel group and ex of the missing girl isn't quite the saint he's made out to be. I predict he's actually involved in her kidnapping.

Usually I really enjoy this show but this one is pretty poor.

She was also in the Ch4 series `Teachers` with Andrew Lincoln from years back.

She`s aged remarkably well.

Didn't you catch a quick glimpse of her lying on a mortician's slab in the preview for tonight's show? Unfortunately that'll probably not mean she dies as they generally try to throw us of the scent in these things.

Well, on a positive note they might have her acting laying down on the slab with no clothes on. Might brighten the ending and even she can't overact being a dead body........or can she!
