This week's one, which I believe to be the last of this series, is split between Monday and Wednesday due to FA Cup Footy on Tuesday.

Probably the first series that I watched from habit that I gave up on.

The big problem I have with it is the increasingly unlikeable characters.

Aside from Ms Fox I can't say any of the other characters in it when I stopped watching had any redeeming characteristics.

Anyone else notice that in the crash with the truck to open the episode there was nobody in the car.

Another detail the buggered last week or the week before was Jack identifying some petrol and saying something like " its 4 stroke so its a bike we are looking for"

Getting worse and worse..... Death, a few flakey clues and 'the team' assuming it's murder and then doing the work of the police. The odd punch from Jack, just to sort out the baddies laugh The only good bit is Liz Carr's acting.

The stupidity knows no bounds. From the police and Nikki this week...

Morons the lot of them.

The script and acting is just embarrassing.

I genuinely thought it was turning into spoof when Nikki went into the house and heard another gunshot.

"Hmm, that was another gunshot. I need to get out down the side of the house".

It was like those bits of dialogue from a computer game that help you out when you can't work out how to progress.

Pitiful.

P.S. the forensic bits are obviously great....(my Uncle is the consultant to the production team for those bits)

Ah, glad it's not just me then! The holes in the plot are painful. Too many too list. I was hoping I wasn't going to have to post against the grain here but I see that's absolutely not the case. It's a shame because with just a tiny bit of thought it could be really good.

Seemed quite a jump to go from finding a handgun in the car to 'there's no shooter' given the shots continued for a long time after the policewoman was shot - and the casings found in the woods.

Still somehow less stupid and implausible than last week's tho.

Clarissa trundling through the building site I mean what the actual fk! when would that ever happen ad H&S would have a meltdown. I guess its the bleeding heart BBC showing people in chairs can do anything even if they wouldn't ever want to.

I guess Emilia is on borrowed time then...

I thought Amanda Burton just grew tired of the programme - Shame as it lost any sense of credibility when she left...

I always find it a bit annoying when programmes set at Christmas are shown at any other time of the year.

We'reabit behind having only watched the first of these ones last night. It was utterly terrible, easily the worst one I've seen. As Nikki ran from the house that she'd just ran into for safety, I said to my wife I hope she gets shot now. Don't think I'll bother watching the second part.

Haha, funnily enough I commented whilst watching that somebody needs to feed her a few burgers! I like slim, not skin and bones!

Got annoyed with the rear canopy on the L200 appearing and disappearing in consecutive shots
