Sorry, can't stop myself. Train fire in a tunnel in 1962, but clearly a Class 56 diesel locomotive, which didn't enter service until the mid to late seventies. Tsk.

Otherwise I always like Silent Witness, though not entirely sure about the new people though I said that last time there was someone new.
Also making a trainline and tunnel "dissapear"

Really?

Sure fill in the tunnel but you'll have two bits of track just going nowhere surely? and peole might just think...wtf?

Not only that but leaving the inspection/access ladder available seems a trifle careless. Not to mention the possibility of contemporary maps showing said track, ventilation shafts, the number of BR people who would have known of a track that suddenly stopped being in service (although it presumably serviced some crucial places)...

This prog is getting silly. Very. IMHO.

All of those things too!

It used to be a bit of thinking mans drama but it really is getting a bit insulting now.

Now it seems they are in some dusty Arab place being all earnest and worthy.

This really is the most dreadful programme. And she's a bit of a moaning, winey, skinny bird who probably reads the Guardian. Does nothing for me I'm afraid.

Just finished watching it. For me & my OH, it came across to us as quite far-fetched. Very disappointed in the whole of this latest series, and if that is the way it has gone, we hope it will be the end.

Yup, getting a bit silly now. The other half called the turned-solider AND the suicide bomber/Leo death ending about 10 minutes in.

Plus the the fact that the blonde woman was unbelievably irritating tonight for most if the series.

This series wad really poor, the underground nuclear accident train one was the best of a very poor bunch.

The Afghan one tonight though was the worst. Mrs and I sky+ last nights and watched both back to back, I was so annoyed by it I was shouting at the telly. I was wanting one of them to get killed, and was hoping it would be the blonde bint. Annoying bh. She is still annoying me and I stopped watching it nearly half an hour ago!

There will be a new series next year according to the continuity guy at the end. Doubt I will be watching.

Harry should have been at the funeral. You know he would have been had they made any attempt to make it realisitic.

Only thing to save it is if Harry comes back to lead the team (of scriptwriters)

the prog is dying IMHO.
All reasonable story lines are now done, and two of the lead characters are gone.

Whilst we all like a little Fox, the show is ridiculous
This. Time to put it to bed I think.

I turned off halfway through Thursday night's episode, just could not take it any more, so who bought it? Leo? This series has gone down hill from the start, it's just too far fetched, I don't mind a bit of 'artistic licence' being used to keep me interested, but the story lines in this are just stupid.

I recorded the last two shows of this for my wife, which she watched last night.

This used to be quite good, one of the best of its type on the TV. However, I was listening to the last two episodes and it was awful! The last one, about Afghanistan was laughable – like ‘Carry on Silent Witness’.

Is this really the best the BBC can do now?

I was going to buy the complete box set for her, but changed it to Foyles War and Inspector Morse instead…..

Yes, I was looking around the congregation in that scene looking for him, and Amanda Burton. At the end of Spooks I was pleased to see they dragged Tom back in to bump someone off as a private contractor, should have done the same here.

a) Harry would have been at the funeral, absurd to think he wouldn't.

b) What exactly was in the coffin that Fox was sitting next to on the plane? Leo would've been in about 5000 tiny pieces being so close to a bomb of that size.
