Sorry guys n gals but I found the story totally over the top and very far fetched. Disappointed as they are usually good. Shan't watch any more this series.

Decided to give it another go. Much better story line so I'll stick with it for now.

Bizzare story so far.

The Homeless Murderer of the Tube I can get on board with.

Invite the homeless Man home for a shag all seems a bit odd to me.

She was odd from the start and took a risk no woman would.
They need 3 hours to tell these stories, they are missing chunks out and make wild assumptions
However I do like it!

Yes, it's a bit strange she's invited him home, though she was a bit weird to start with - perhaps there's something about how the first guy got under the tube train that we don't know yet. And the photos Nikki was looking at from the policemans fathers murder case file were a bit strange too - looked as if the case file contained stills from the flashback sequence at the start of the programme rather than photos that would have been taken at the scene. On and off in a couple of seconds, though, so maybe it was just my imagination.

And, Liz Carr's agent must have done some good work, as the end credits now have her name separately at the start.

She either has a death wish or will be a bigger psycho than he is.

I wonder if she saw him kill the first bloke and has roped him in to do away with her son's foster-parents.

I also wonder if the detective's mother was just removing the murder weapon from her deceased husband's neck - somebody else did the deed.

I fully expect to be proved wrong on both counts tonight...

Was it the detective himself that did the murder? Which is why he is positive his mother is innocent.

There are some crazy women out there...some nuts enough to take a homeless bloke home in the vein hope of a shag

Would explain the car not being controlled anymore. Perhaps he sneaked in.

But then why would he open it up if he risked being found out other than he is feeling guilty about what happend to his mum?

Unfortunately there's a POV shot of the boy watching from an upstairs window his mother being chased by his father in the Land-Rover. It would be stretching it (even for Witless Silence) to place him in the back of the Landie...

Have you ever tried starting a Landrover when it's cold? Im surprised the mother hadn't run into the next county by the time they caught her up. Plenty of time for the boy to sneak downstairs and grab a knife from the kitchen the get into the back of the landy

It would explain why he crashed...

Continuing trend for the coppers in this show.

Oh look this week there's a bad cop and a good cop. Oh no wait, the good cop is a murderer.

I thought it was a bit of a cop-out really. Re-playing all the attack sequences but showing us an extra bit that we hadn't seen before just strikes me as shoe-horning the ending back into the original storyline. And when they attacked the shopkeeper, they left the shop and she wiped blood off her hands onto the front of her blouse, yet a few minutes later when they arrive to kidnap the kid, there's nothing except a couple of drops around her collar.

Enjoyed last weeks more than this.

Didn't enjoy this weeks at all particularly.

And surely a tube train running into you makes a whole lot more mess than we saw last night?!

I noticed that too. And are we really supposed to believe that lame-arsed attempt at stabbing actually killed the shopkeeper. Surprised the blade even penetrated his shirt!

He survived, they said he was in surgery and he'd make a great witness.

It didn't kill him, IIRC the policeman said something like "if he doesn't die he can identify him/them"

Fair enough. boxedin

I blame the wife for coming in from the gym and distracting me by trying to spark up a conversation! smash

Nonetheless, if she used the same action for the other victims, it's a miracle they didn't all survive!
