Season 4 is upon us.

I've watched the first 4, top quality as always.

I'm not sure, I always loved the climbing the ladder bit, fighting his corner is not as much fun, only watched 2 but still better than the last season.

It's going to be a bingey weekend hehe

Just settling down to S4E1 now, god I love the title music. Just sets the tone perfectly. Its pretty much the only show I bingewatch where I will let the opening credits play each and every time.

I've done the first four...much better when Netflix release the complete season in one go.

So far as good as ever.

Haha- me too. Seems to make the most of my sound bar- I love it. Currently sick....and on episode 5. Loving it so far...a return to form after a weak (all things relative) season 3

Ex journalist, mates with Kate Mara's character. Investigated Frank in the earlier seasons and was put away to keep him quiet.

I really dislike Claire Underwood. They're both deviants but much like Tony Soprano you can't help but root for Frank.....

They've taken the Lady Macbeth thing far too seriously. At least Frank is a cut and dried antihero. Claire's just a malevolent pain in the arse.

Why did he suddenly turn against Frank? Was it just because he was asked to make some bbq ribs lol?

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS! (maybe? Not really but still)

Because he was presumed always to be the lowly chef. And it's indicative of the casual racism still prevalent even today, whilst Middle Class White Men applaud themselves for solving racism but only when (in this case) black people conform to racial stereotypes.

Frank may not be overly racist, he may not be stringing people up from trees as his Dad did back in the day, but he's certainly a mother fker.

Yep racism is prevalent in the US.

Ive seen all 13, I didn't like season 3 but season 4 makes it make sense.

I don't think he ever liked frank, frank had originally offered him a job in the kitchen, frank doesn't care about him he just wanted dem ribs. Massive hints at the racism the system has all the way through the series

We've binge watched ep1-7 this weekend and it's epic, so much better than Series 3.

We've had to self-embargo ourselves from watching anymore until next weekend or else we'll never get anything else done!

I forgot what episode I'm on but it's a couple after Claire ruins the accord between Russia and the US after the gay guy hangs himself in the cell in Russia

She has that air of arrogance about her, she pretends to be nice but she is actually very calculated and quite selfish.

Can't wait to watch more! :-)

Exactly. He enjoyed the veneer of working class attitude but, as we find out in four, the rib place has long since closed. Keeping Freddy on satisfies Franks vanity.

Freddy has got a lot of reasons to dislike Frank, on the face of it they're friends, but it's only one-way, it's hard to be friends when they've never been equal, plus Frank is at least partly responsible for Freddy losing his business and his son being locked up.
