its a load of st. they problem you have the weinstein types who allegedly rape women for years, then you have KS who as a gay drunk thespian gets a bit grabby. o.k not right but lets have context, a world apart from multiple allegedly rapes.

I think Netflix are right to fire him. If someone was getting "grabby" whist working for my company, he'd be out the door sharpish.

Yeah, sexual assault is perfectly acceptable providing it was long enough ago.
It might be classified as sexual assault (but I'm not too sure). IF it happened.

I think Spacey's statement after Rapp's allegations tells you all you need to know. "I can't remember but if I did I would have been drunk"?!

Well I can certainly remember every encounter I've had with a girl (names might escape me, but at least I remember them).

You're right. No need to take it to the court, the proof is right here.

So there still are these possiblities:

  1. It happened but didn't think anything of it at the moment and forgot about it
  2. It didn't happen
  3. He remembers and he's lying.

Yes, it's 3, it's deffo 3. Cut off his dick now.

Ironic isn't it,,,,,,,,,,? We live in the most permissive society ever, with nudity, rape and murder graphically portrayed on mainstream TV, gameshows with fully naked people choosing a partner based on size of tits or cock, "Love Island" bonkfests and Big Brother live shagging.

Shows that are seemingly lapped up by "modern humans", shows that would never have even been thought out 40 years ago, never mind produced.

Any yet, as "modern humans" we seem incapable of dealing with someone putting their hand on someone's knee, or making a drunken fumble? And I don't mean the perps or the victims, necessarily, I mean the baying crowds demanding action about something that is none of their fking business.

We are becoming a massive bunch of pussies as a society. Everything is always "someone's fault" people are becoming increasingly incapable of sorting things out for themselves, minding their own business and just getting on with regular day to day stuff in life. It does not bode well for the future of mankind.

I hope we get a few "celebs" coming out and saying "fk off it's a load of bks" or "st happens" instead of whining about something that was fk all 30 years ago, or apologising for something that is in now way any big deal. It's all just bks bandwagon jumping, and in truth, 99% of the population don't give the slightest st about it.

Just finished the binge watch of this from the beginning. What an epic series - up there in my opinion with 24, Prison Break, GoT and Breaking Bad.

Spacey's character was brilliant - regardless of the allegations he is a superb actor. As others have said, it is a good point to end it at "My Turn". A great supporting cast too.

Digressing, I think Homeland might be next for me - I watched previously the first three seasons - time to repeat and catch up.

But HoC - in a word, brilliant.

I've finally got around to watching this, friend gave me series one on DVD. I'm 4 episodes in and to be honest I'm a bit underwhelmed. So much so It's been over a week since I last watched an episode, it just hasn't gripped me. I'm going to give it another go, maybe over the Christmas break, will sit down and watch a few episodes back to back, see if I can get into it.

Seems Frank Underwood's end is appropriately symbolic for Spacey's career: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cy_Kws0wdX4

Hasn’t one of the legal cases against him been dropped a 1990’s assault claim.

Also to date all we have is accusations he legally is an innocent man - what happens IF he is found totally innocent?

I've long thought that it is telling of an actor's ability when you end up rooting for the bad guy!

Nearing end of 5th season now. Writer just been poisoned. Was glad. Any storyline with him in it was dull IMO.

Loved this show, but without Spacey I can't see it working.

Not sure Wright has the gravitas to carry an entire season. I hope it won't be about her flirting with the Russian President.

Who knows?

Him apologising for behaviour he said he doesn't remember upon a 14 year old, and stating he needs to 'examine his own behaviour' is probably going to leave a cloud over him regardless of any criminal / civil outcomes.

I guess financially he is set for life and so is his family
But his game is the arts the performance I cannot see him not wanting to carry on doing acting in whatever shape it presents itself. He wouldn’t sit back and chill out for the next 40-50years.

I wonder if he will even ever be charged? If not he may counter sue for defamation of character/I’d wager he doesn’t have a choice really not to do so.
