Seen them all, kinda of a bit "meh" about the whole series. I was just constantly thinking - is this just s setup for season 4?

Watched up to Ep10 or 11 now. I guess I would have to agree that this series is weaker than the previous two, but I think that comes naturally due to the position Frank is in now.
Have not started series 3 yet but I did wonder if the lack of the original writing would weaken s3 a bit

It's definitely lacking some momentum. I've watched the first four, but I think the rest will take a fair while to get through.

I was hoping for a return to form after a mixed second series, but it's gone a bit too classic US style of dragging it out too much and not resolving any story lines.

I seem to be alone but I really liked Season 3.

Can't wait for Season 4!

I've really enjoyed season 3, seeing the Underwoods under pressure is quite interesting, I like seeing Frank squirm!! hehe

I do agree with an earlier poster that they have both had seperate missions, seperate lives almost without a shared goal.

Claire has been rogue far too much IMO.

President Underwood in 2016!!

I'm most surprised at Clare in this series tbh, she's seemed well out of her depth with most of what she's taken on so far. Given the career goals she's hinted at with Frank she really needs to pull something out of the bag!

Watched the first 3 episodes last night from Season 3 and going to try and do another 3 tonight. Loving it again and really enjoyed the Russian president episode.

Just watched episode 2, season 3. Good episode.

There was a moment when Frank was stood looking out of the window in the oval office. I thought he looked a bit like Richard Nixon.

Finished season three last night.

Still not enough scheming for my liking but watchable nonetheless.

Season 1 and 2 is without a doubt some of the best Drama ever filmed.

Season 3, episode 9, just watching.
I love this show. Haven't read any comments lately on this thread to avoid any spoilers.
Could watch the whole season in one go I enjoy it that much.

Has a 4th season actually been confirmed?

I can't imagine it won't continue, but I haven't seen anywhere saying that's been commissioned...

What happened to season 3?

Hardly any camera referencing (loved it when he talked to the camera to let us in on his dirty secrets etc)!

Frank the 'schmoozer' known for sweet talking his opponents decides to alienate everyone that matters to him by verbally blasting then when he needs them most!

Lack of referencing past characters (i.e. Tusk, Arcelus etc)!

His wife just appearing on the staff (I thought she had her own charity!)

A good season, but preferred the two previous.

There will always be peaks and troughs with any great tv series

Season 3 has definitely wandered away slightly from he first two but is very enjoyable for different reasons. So many avenues to explore in season 4....can't wait

Ok finished it now , it was enjoyable but really some of the scenes were a little out there , would a white house chief of staff really take such chances ?

Frank was almost a caricature of his self at time and the sneaky Ruski Pres was overplayed a bit I thought

Enjoyed Season 3, but did prefer the first two. Frank is less of a conniving bd this time round. I did like Putin Petrov... Caricature-tastic. Looking forward to the (unconfirmed?) season 4 next year?

Cheers, Lost Soul. I have a habit of getting into US series that end-up cancelled. The 4400, Flashforward.... didn't want to put the kiss of death on House of Cards.
