Looks like she is busy with Mr Selfridge.

Hopefully she will make a return later - no doubt once Nick has started to get it on with the new female character.

The girl from edit - NOT going Out would have been a good swap (sally Bretton I think) I always get them confused as very similar

One of the BBC's better productions. Always gets me laughing out loud which is a rarity when it comes to tv comedy these days. Rocket is a star

Finally got round to watching it last night, still as funny as ever. Loved the medic's attitude.

Completely failed to spot last season that Towerblock is Neville from Harry Potter, he looks a bit different these days biggrin

Thanks to PH, I would have never seen this. Watched two episodes from the last series and the first episode of the current series on the train smile

Quite enjoyable and definitely some liners to remember. Might have to buy series one on DVD or iTunes smile

Well last nights episode was good if somewhat grim in places, I'm sure the gallows humour is part of the job but it's a big departure for the program.

Its the typical soldier gallows humour style that makes bluestone 42.
Wasn't the very 1st episode of series one where a hobby yank gets shot in the head and the troop are already taking the Mick before back at base?

Didn't expect that I thought Nick was a great character but still another good episode.

Won't be the same without you know who. Wonder why he was written out? Hope it can keep being as entertaining.

Agreed, But, as a black comedy, it did what MASH did well, that anything can happen to anyone.

I thought Nick was a very good character but guess he wanted out or the producers wanted to bring in another female.

Agree with you about MASH - I currently watching it on freesat (ch142?) it is still just as good!

Love the jelly babies. Going to be a bit different without Nick, hope they manage to keep it as funny

I'm guessing he is filming something else as I doubt they would have wanted him to go. Shame as the character was brilliant. Worried that its going to defend to the ATO being jobsworth with lots of "annoyance" humour (Ricky gervais style)

I thought if they were going to injure/kill off a character I thought it'd be Rocket.
Then have the team deal with it in different ways, such as;
Nick: becomes angry/aggressive to all
Mac: Becomes far more serious/professional
Etc,etc

Anyway I'm enjoying what they are doing!

as a current member of the forces I can GLADLY confirm the slightly warped sense of humour is pretty much bob-on :-p
