Now Hannibal has been caught, we move onto the Red Dragon, comic con preview here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loOgfXNs-VI

It would appear that Sylar from Hereos is alive and well is also getting some treatment from Scully biggrin

Anyone else think it's gone from quirky to outright messed up in the latest series?

Never watch these CSI/NCIS type things that infest US TV but caught the end of the one just on Sky Living before tonights Hannibal, where we start the Tooth Fairy story, and who's the CSI investigator, none other than William Petersen the original Will Graham from Manhunter!

Spooky.

Oh, it's still going.

I thought last week's was the finale. I'm no quitter so I'm sticking with it.

Last night's episode set things up nicely, but I can't help but feel I'm going to be disappointed come the end of the season - hopefully they'll wrap it up nicely and not leave it on a never ending cliff hanger.

5 episodes left which I think will be enough to cover the Tooth Fairy, I just looked up the name of the last episode of this series on IMDB and it's a sort of hint title to lead into the next part of the story/films. But I'm not sure how Will Graham can still be in it as it's the Clarice Starling story if you go by the film/book, unless of course there's a rewrite to accommodate him.

But then some things have been done out of order, the Italian field trip was in the 3rd film Hannibal, (Manhunter, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal and Red Dragon which is Manhunter rebooted), as was the Mason Verger story. So perhaps there will be a structural change to this so that it's not obvious what's going to happen next and we have some surprises. All of course if it's picked up by another network for a 4th series.

The creator of Hannibal didn't get the rights to use Clarice Starling in the storyline, so the show has kind of run its course after Red Dragon.

I'm just catching up on Series 3.

Was starting to get disappointed as the early episodes dragged on....

But I have to say that I am pleased I persevered, because it suddenly steps up a gear or two and has some quality acting and scenes. Mads M just gets better and better for one... Not quite so convinced by Will and Jack, Dancy and Fishburn are definitely good actors but their performances remain disappointing to me - at some points good, but patchy, MM is impeccable!

Is it me or did I miss the homosexual relationship between Will and Hannibal? It's clearly been implied lately but I can't recall it

Well, it certainly passed me by completely how was it implied?

When he was talking to Scully about the relationships that she had and her comments about did Wills wife know how intimately Will and Hannibal knew each other. Maybe I'm reading to much into it

I think you are - the implication is that they are psychologically co-dependent - Hannibal cannot live without Will and vice versa.

At least that's how I read it. wink

I gave up after 2 eps of this series as I thought it had finally disappeared up its own a**e.

Is it worth going back to? I caught a snippet and it seemed a bit less pompous.
