I've been recording this and am up to episode 8 now. It's pretty good and Mads Mikkelsen is such a good actor.

Fans of Danish drama The Killing will have seen his brother Lars as politician Troels Hartmann in the first season.

It's good to see another British actor, Hugh Dancy (Will Graham), in a lead role in another US series. The lucky bugger is married to Claire Danes too.

That was a great ending to the series. Can't wait for S2.
Not sure I agree; it was a great lead into S2, but there wasn't much "closure" for the series so far. Left me feeling a bit disappointed.

The series as a whole though was superb. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The ending I thought the twist of Will being held in the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane and Hannibal visiting him, sniffing the air as he went in a great twist to the Silence of the Lambs where it was Clarice visiting Hannibal

It's a great middle to a story that we already know how it ends.

Not watched this, didn't get into it.

Why was it sunk on dead-end channel, Living?

Was Will the chap who Edward Norton plays in Red Dragon? Who if I remember right had had stab wounds done by Hannibal? what to know more about the ear and what happened to the girl.

Yup. William Peterson played him in 'Manhunter'.

She's more than likely on the table when Hannibal comes round to Scully's.

It seems to take a lot from the original Manhunter film and William Peterson's intense portrayal of Will Graham. That's a good thing though, as it's a decent film with the distinctive Michael Mann touch.

Watching the one with edie izzard where he asks his patient to stay awake and hold stuff.

This needs more Batman.

Trailer for series 2, possible spoilery but nothing that you wouldn't expect would be happening I suppose.

How does this work then if the first 3 are pre-Red Dragon and he's shown attacking Crawford in the trailer?

I can only assume they are making some changes so even though you might have seen the films or read the books they will still have some differences and surprises to keep you guessing what might change or who might die/not die, they are doing the same with Game of Thrones.

Anyone else watched the first episode then?

From now on I'm going to turn the TV off as soon as the episode finishes, the next episode previews seem to consistently give too much away.
