Just let them tell the stories, then watch them. Why do folks want to know the when's and who's...

Quite enjoying it so far. Loving Capaldi's take on the Doctor.

And good to see Strax back

The BBC right-on luvvies have been at it again. Lesbian marriage in the first 10 minutes covered?

yes Oh yes.

You not watch Dr.Who then?

Those two have been a couple for several series now. Nothing new there.

Excellent from front to back, a lot of Tom Baker in there, and nice writing. Looking forward to more.

Excellent tribute to Robin Williams. Wonder if that scene was reshot for it?

Replace the names with any Dr actors and you always get the same thing early on.

Strangely enough I liked it but for some odd reason every time the new Doctor opens his mouth I hear... "...about as much use as a marzipan dildo."

When are the Dr. Who writers going to learn NOT to rush to the resolution ? Surely they know in advance how long each episode is ? It can't suddenly be sprung on them that, half-way into the story, they only have 10 minutes left - can it ?

TBH I expected him to start effing and jeffing at everyone.

You have a very vivid imagination, it's a common enough literary reference and not the property of RW.

I thought it was OK as a handover episode. See where it goes from there.

I'm enjoying Capaldi more than I thought I would. Harks back to Ecclestone a little.

It's like having a rocker again, after a couple of boy bands.

You get a stupid number of people complaining about various elements of the show, not just the "new doctor".

Watched it with my sons (aged 5 & 12) - remember that it is aimed at ALL ages. Oldest loved it, youngest thought Strax was funny. Reckon it was a cracking show. Take it for what it is intended to be; an entertaining saturday night show for the family.

Aye, nice to see people with the memory of a goldfish complaining already smile
