I don't believe it! A Doctor Who epidose that wasn't crap! And bits of it even made sense!

Or perhaps I was just distracted by Clara's perfect breasts. After her, the next assistant will have to be something really special.

Hope they don't get rid of Ashildir just yet though; I've enjoyed her appearances so far.

So Clara was the impossible girl, or whatever it was called - who seems to have already died several times. So how was that all tied up by bumping her off this time? And what WAS the point of the impossible girl - did they ever explain that?

Having seen the image linked behind the spoiler box, I am not convinced that Clara is totally gone yet - I don't remember her dressed as a waitress this series and there are plenty more pictures of this outfit out there taken, during filming in Ed's Diner in Cardiff, earlier this year

Apart from the elongated "ok, I'm going to die but let me just milk it for all its worth first and oh isn't it strange the bird thing seems to have got lost and given me more time than I should have" bit at the end, I was quite enjoying that.
My thoughts exactly.

I do like Clara, I think it's that accent. Her breasts don't actually look that great uncovered oddly enough.

5 minutes into Clara's monologues my wife said "God, just hurry up and DIE!". It did go on - would have had more impact if the bird had come swooping in straight away while she was trying to say something noble and cut her off.

Not sure if serious.

Er, strap line on the front cover - Last orders for Clara

Clearly a photoshoot for the front cover, taken in a diner, to tie in with the strap line.

Fairly serious - Looks a bit more than just a cover shoot?

With all the heavy-handed mentions of "this doesn't make sense" etc., I fear a Bobby Ewing moment is approaching.

A Clara shower scene? That's a sure fire ratings booster for the dads.

No Viking helmet has ever been found with horns. It's part of the Victorian fantasy.
I know. But fantasy is the whole point.
But Vikings in horned helmets aren't fantasy any more, they're a cliché. Policemen in horned helmets would be imaginative, putting Vikings in them is just lazy.

Clara will return in "Hell Bent" the series finale. Along with the Time Lords and Gallifrey.

The Diner is the one used in "The Impossible Astronaut". It is speculated He returns there in the Finale. Something to do with it being the location of a fixed point in time.

This. She lasted to long.

I also think they didn't really know how to handle the relationship between the Doctor and Clara - it worked with a "young" Doctor - and were struggling to write for it.

Double post I know, but...
When they had the brief flash back of Tennant a few episodes ago it did make me think he is going to be in it again very very soon.
Still the best doctor imo.
