The sequence where we find out that the Doctor has been there for four and a half billion years..
Except he hadn't been. There had been billions of Doctors during that time. Each one lasted a few weeks or months and then sacrificed himself to bring another one into existence. In-fking-consistent. I hate these writers.
Last weeks episode was rather brilliant, but they ignored the repeated resurrection in this one, which frankly was pretty poor.

Sure, some nice little elements (retro tardis is so cool - chameleon circuitry breaking and being stuck as a diner is cool), resurrection as a woman, but it was just a useless love story (Doctor loves Clara, doesn't ever want her to die, etc etc etc).

And a type 40 again ? Why can't he steal one that isn't obsolete ?

It hasn't failed, it's just suffering from women drivers.

I enjoyed it, but I did feel it was a bit of an anticlimax after last weeks awesome prison (although PH seems to have, on the whole, hated the last episode). While I think it gave Clara a better end, I think I would have preferred the Dr laying vengeance down on his enemies. Instead he exiled one, shot his new best mate and fled in a tardis again.

What a contrast I enjoyed tonight, blank slate Tardis was cool. Got a bit bored towards the end with all the soppy dialogue but overall entertaining, a good story and beautiful to look at. One good episode is not enough to rescue the series from being a flop however, writers take note. Disappointed with Maisie I loved her character in GoT but thought she was crap in this.
Ditto. The girl cannot act.

That was good but quite odd as well. Really can't decide if I like it or not!

So Galifreys back. But hiding.

Clara's dead. But flying around the universe in another Tardis with an immortal Viking.

The Hybrid is the Doctor. And Me. And Clara. But is completely irrelevant anyway.

The Doctor has a shiney new screwdriver. Just in time for Christmas.

But he doesn't remember anything. Again.

In Cardiff yesterday so wandered down the street were they filmed them finding the entrance to the Trap street.

Guess what, there actually is a strange gap in the wall.

To be fair it wasn't stated that it was a Type 40.

The Monk's TARDIS in The Time Meddler was a later model than the Doctor's, but still had the same interior and console.

The Master's TARDIS in various stories also looks identical to the Doctor's (apart form sometimes having a different central column). and that is also supposed to be a later model.

But the type 40 is merely a badge engineered type 39, with the control column change being based on Tardis racing technology and marking out the owner as a poser.

The American Diner option isn't really worth having because it does add a lot of weight and limits performance unless you remap the whatever it is you remap. but the jukebox sound system is a worthwhile upgrade.

I am going to have to watch that again, because it seemed like a whole load of unrelated nonsense which didn't hang together in any coherent way.

Bit harsh on her, but probably true.
