It is a bit loud isn't it ?
Perhaps not one of the best. I still opt for The Next Doctor as being the better of the Xmas onea.

I've been left a bit cold by the last series and the special was poor (in my opinion)
The plots seem to go from far too clever where you need to be a geek fan to understand it to childishly simple.
Great shame as I think Capaldi's doctor is very good.

But I've only been watching DW since the 1960's so what would I know.

Am I the only person who likes the Fisher-Price Daleks? Bring them back I say!

It's just you. I hope we never see them again.

P.S. I'm holding evilmunkey personally responsible for them.

hahaha. i wasn't too keen on that design either. preferred the old ones. Still could have been worse, did anyone see the updated K.9. ? http://www.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/k9/ Oh dear me thats bad. Did love the Dalek from the ecclestone series. Thought the W.W.2 Ironside was pretty good too.

That looks like a Sony Aibo.

^^ Why? Then again why not?!

Have to say he looks good in David Tennants and Matt Smiths guises.

Oh yes, bonus points for watching it longer, automatically go to the top of the list of critics. In to the final round! The winner gets to re-film the piece in the form of their own superior vision. Good luck w'ere rooting for you.

He's in for series 10, after that?

No Doctor Who series this year ( maybe a Christmas Special ), Moffat leaving, Chris Chibnall ( Broadchurch creator ) to take over

Beaten to it. Part of me is sad to read Moffat is leaving, as he has penned some of the best episodes, but sadly as show runner he hasn't had the same success.

Oh, st!

Chibnall's Dr Who episodes (42, The Hungry Earth / Cold Blood, Dinosaurs on a Spaceship and The Power of Three) are generally regarded as crap.

Toby Whithouse would have been a much better bet.

I was very pleased when I first heard news that Moffat was taking over the show, but on balance he's not done a great job.
I've had to google this new bloke to see what he's done in the past, and I'm not thrilled with the idea of him being the controlling mind behind the whole thing. Perhaps I'll be supprised and it will be the best thing to happen to Dr Who since its revival. Time will tell.

I wonder how many more Dalek episodes Moffat can squeeze in before he laves?

Maybe he knows something we don't? Leaving a sinking ship and let someone else take the blame?

Other produces have left before you know. There was no "sinking ship" then.
