Three responses to my post, and all three seem to have missed my point. Doubly ironic.

The slogan means stop banging on about it, the writers of Dr Who might want to take note of the slogan.

What slogan????

You seem to be having some trouble with the English language. Just to help you out, from the Cambridge English Dictionary:

slogan: a short easily remembered phrase, especially one used to advertise an idea or a product

And

ironic: interesting, strange, or funny because of being very different from what you would usually expect

I'm not sure how either word has any relevance in the context that you are using them!

Plot twist rumours
1. Bill is killed but the Doctor transfers her thoughts into an entity that roams with the roamers seen in episode 1 - she gets to spend the rest of eternity with the woman she fell for - plot goes full circle
2. Nardole leaves as he blames the Doctor for making mistakes and risking other peoples lives
3. Missy sacrifices herself to save the Doctor effectively she allows her own self to be killed by her previous one (The Master John Sim)
4. The Doctor is wounded both physically and emotionally and this is carried over into the Xmas special
5. Zeuss 5 is caught up in the time tunnel

Thought that was rather good.

With all the spoilers, had a good idea where it was going, but really enjoyed the ride. Spooky, shocking and some great dialog.

Actually properly looking forward to next week's episode, though worried it'll not be able to live up to this one.

Best of the series?

I liked it too, but I would have preferred it if they hadn't shown John Sim in the trailer in order to make it a surprise.

The best of the series. Scare moments, dark, creepy and almost horror. The "pain, pain, pain" I think will haunt many small children.

Now we can see where the teardrop ducting comes from with the cybermen.

I really enjoyed it too this week. Had been on holiday so watched the previous week and this back to back.

Thankfully I always stop before the 'Next Week' preview so didn't see anything about The Master.

But the second I saw John Simms character talk I knew it was him, he's got a very distinctive voice/Mouth shape when he talks. I wondered if it would be The Master or if he was just playing another character for lols.

Good episode though and very much looking forward to next week.

Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain.

Pretty much summed up the entire series for me. Time they put it out of its misery in my opinion.

Painlessly, naturally.

Loved it!

I too stay away from trailers to avoid surprises, so didn't put 2+2 together until he said "she works for me now", just something about the way he said it smile

Can't wait for next week!!

I really wish they hadn't put John Simm in the trailers, that would have been properly mind blowing stuff and got people tuning in for the finale! Love the evil goatee.

What I really don't get is how he's there?

As far as I remember Simm-Master has only been on current-ish Earth and the end of the Universe. He arrived there, couldn't go anywhere else, died there, resurrected there, got sucked into Galifrey and Galifrey has been locked away on time ever since.

Not sure if it was just my TV or if it was some story twist I didn't get but the very last minute or so I couldn't hear what he was saying or the old guy from Harry Potter.

If you've seen 'An Adventure in Space and Time' (and if you haven't, you should), David Bradley was playing William Hartnell, the first Doctor.

Now wouldn't that be a twist. Having the doctor regenerate back into the first doctor

Good to see the series end on a low. Complete and utter garbage.

Without doubt for me this has been the worst written series of Dr Who ever. I feel sorry for Peter Capaldi. He has had such terrible scripts to work with that he will unfairly be remembered as one of the worst doctors ever.
