They did that bring Rose back in the Donna Noble story, surely they wouldn't do that again??
The BBC have already confirmed that she and DT are returning for the 50th anniversary special.
Realise that, just re-using Rose as a mystery woman seems a bit lazy

I've belatedly become a Dr Who fan thanks to some marathon DVD sessions to catch up from the Ecclescake series. Matt Smith took a while to bed in, but think he does a nice job. That said, found that episode rather empty. Not a great deal happened, unless we're going to see more of the mysterious "client" in future episodes?
The mysterious "client" was the Richard E Grant Intelliegence baddie from the Xmas special no?

I would imagine he'll be back.

You could see the camera crew and the camera car reflected on the helmet. Things like that annoy me.

Magic coffee cup was the only thing that bothered me, tbh.

Tea cup. Obviously a tea cup. They were dipping Jammie Dodgers, for goodness' sake. And yes, it was a little odd how she managed to still have tea in the cup after almost crashing in a plane. Probably intentionally so.

Pfft. I've fallen over with a pint of beer before and still had beer left over. One of mans oldest instincts. hehe

Haven't seen that, so I'm clearly behind the curve.

Or maybe ahead of it, on a different timeline that's running backwards or something smile

Yup, looks like Richard E Grant is the series baddie. Be interesting to see what the link is between Clara and the Greater Intelligence

I liked it tonight, a Moffat favourite of making the bad thing from something normal. It was very obviously an empty coffee cup that Clara ran round with though hehe . Oh and in her book with the list of ages updated every year, no number 23 scratchchin
Or 16....didn't she die twice though?

I thought Saturdays epsiode was the best I have seen for a long time.
For once I could watch an episode without having to look at a venn diagram/flow chart explaining what happened in the previous six.

The chemistry between the Chin and his new assistant is excellent & she would seem to be a very good actress, which I didn't think the last one was.

Having watched the episode for a second time just now I thought I'd highlight what I thought good and bad about the episode.

Good things
BBC ident link in to the show - one of the benefits of producing you own shows
Some good little jokes - "twitter"; "no-one loves cattle more than burger king"

Bad things
Clara (intentionally?) being bad on computers didn't sit very well eg getting the wrong password and then clicking on the wrong link. Awful.
Two people battling over keyboards .... how realistic is that?
Oswin's accent....mostly home counties but occasionally Midlands or Lancashire.
That damn mug - basic
Awful motorbike on a rig scenes through London
Bebo?
Automatons updating their facebook accounts?
Plot. Another one of those - everything is seriously f**ked up but the Doctor sorts it with a wave of his magic screwdriver. Simplifies a very complex web of problems.

Also....
Burton's Foods PR agency certainly earned this month's retainer!
Hoping the Oswin story pans out. Too many "why doesn't she know / remember" questions for me at the moment. Although I haven't given it a lot of thought so maybe I'm not remembering something.

Look, I love it...but it's a kids program ffs. Scientific exactitude and logistical issues aren't meant be uppermost in a 13 year olds brain when he/she is watching.

They have homework for that kinda stuff.

Someone will be along presently to tell you that because it's on after the news... you're wrong.

I may have read more into that than was intended, but I got the feeling that was more social comment than related to the plot, as one or two would've sufficed?
