Ugh what's Lucy done to her hair. Horrendous butchering. Made all the worse because they either didn't have budget or couldn't be bothered to re-film the opening titles so she still has her old hair in those. Weird.

When I saw the trailer, I thought it was someone else, wondered if there would be a variation on the "gone to work in Germany" storyline.

Generally I enjoyed it, again probably because the kids didn't feature in it.

[anorak] That CCTV recorder they took back to the shop looked identical to my old Techwood / Vestel PVR which, ironically, was what I used to record the programme on. [/anorak]

I was just thinking the same watching it about an hour ago. They'll have her in high waist mom jeans next!

New series started last night. Pretty good, better than the previous episode they did that was entirely set in a single location (the one in the cable car).

I agree, last night's episode was good. Let's hope the standard continues.

Yup, there were quite a few genuine laugh out loud moments, especially in the first five minutes before it settled down into the routine. The writing seemed much sharper than for a long time, I'd all but given up that it was gonna get back to former glories after being a bit meh frankly lately.

We were chuckling throughout, it promises to be a good series if the first episode's anything to go by.

At least Lucy's gone back to a decent haircut, that's all that matters.

We always like this program for a bit of a laugh. It is not as though it has a lot of competition these days,

Has to be much better than yet another repeat of Dad’s Army.

I saw the last half of it and thought it was dreadful. It used to be great, then went a bit st once they got married.

Shows how we're all different, I just watched it and thought it was bloody brilliant. Best episode for a long time, with more funny lines in half an hour than whole seasons of certain programmes I could name.

We watched it on iPlayer last night and it made us chuckle a fair few times.

I also watched Life Begins and I'm not sure what I thought of that...

Always enjoy it, but I'd enjoy it far more if the camera stopped that ridiculous thing of slowly moving to the right, or slowly moving to the left. Every bloody time, it doesn't need it. Stop it.

Wonder why they skipped the 2nd episode of the series and instead showed the 3rd episode tonight
