Thought it was a pretty slowed paced episode, the only thing we really learned is that if Hood does manage to survive this series he has a future career as a barber.
Not really a spoiler but does anyone really believe that Job is dead?
Four is not bad, it's about middle of the range for a high-end serial drama from HBO (owns Cinemax), they have an unwritten rule of not above 6 or something, which they are having to break for GoT.
AMC (basic cable) go a bit further, though I reckon The Walking Dead will run for at least a few more years.

Nothing to do with popularity. The network said they'd keep it going for 5 or more seasons. The writers and producers struggled with a way to keep it going based on the incredibly shallow premise. From the interviews it's clear they didn't expect it to be as popular as it was. Just because she's dead doesn't mean she won't be in it, the time shift forward means there's gaps they can fill

finally watched E1 and I'm enjoying it - the head in the vice made me turn away from the TV though, couldn't take it
