He was using a Wing Chun dummy and his technique was spot on, so he'll be handy in a fight.
Wasn't sure what 'art' he was practising but it looked appropriately brutal.

God knows how he'll get around the guy being found in the woods....will wait for S2 to find out I suppose.
Yeah, some interesting major plot-lines set up. We were wondering just where they would go with the whole thing and were wondering if, like so many series, it'd be better off wound up early rather than dragged on pointlessly. Nicely surprised in the end that it looks well-set to be a good S2.

Just on episode 5, would have expected better from HBO. Its a bit 'Die Hard' which is good in a way but would have preferred something a bit deeper.

It's not HBO though, it's Cinemax which is a sub channel of HBO that specialises in this kind of show

Compared to a lot of Cinemax output, this is deep! They also make Strike Back! They aren't known as Skinemax for nothing

Oh makes sense. Still a but too Hollywood for me, the way he kills 6 bikers with his bare hands. Don't know if I can be arsed to carry on watching.

Just use the word gratuitous a lot and it takes the edge off the sillier bits.

I grabbed the first 2 eps of season 2 yesterday, already aired in the US. Decent size as well, at about 1.3gb each, for that that don't want to wait.

Not watched yet, and probably won't for a few weeks, but shoould have 4/5 to view by then...

Started on series two tonight with the first two episodes. The first's a bit slow, setting the scene etc...but episode two was fantastic entertainment. Men beating up men, women beating up men, women beating up other women. In prison. Exploding cattle. Most excellent escapism.

I really enjoyed the first series but think the second (4 episodes in) has started off a bit st. Too many side plots that go nowhere - and I can already predict the ending.

Another late arrival to this series.

Reminds me of Prison Break in terms of im-plausability but still good fun.

Just finished watching season 1 and in the process of 'stacking' season 2 for viewing at some point later in the year.

BTW, I see season 3 has already ben greenlit: http://www.tv.com/shows/banshee/community/post/ban...
