If you don't like sex, violence, sex and violence or swearing then give this a swerve (nearest mainstream TV in that regard is, I suspect, GoT). Watch the 1st episode (it's less than an hour) and it'll set the scene for the rest of the series. We both found the whole series very worthwhile and unlike much else on TV (at that time)
Much appreciated, will give it a goPolly Grigora said:

Why don't you decide for yourself?
"I'm not watching it because someone on the Internet said it's not very good".
If it is All a bit basic and brainless I'm out before I'm in"I'm not watching it because someone on the Internet said it's not very good".
It definitely won't be difficult for an intelligent person to verify
It is a bit like the earlier GoT - sex, voilence, lots of characters - and that's not a bad thing.
I really liked it, they had an idea and really committed to it, no half measures. High production values too.

This was a great show. Anyone get the backstory to Kai Proctor's bespectacled hitman/butler?
There is a series of shorts on YouTube called Banshee Origins. There's an episode which goes into this:https://youtu.be/xurB-ELazSE

It's not really basic or brainless. What it is is 'pulp' fiction turned up to 11. Reacher is sort of similar but this is just more of everything.

Thumbs up to all of you, found it was well worth watchingIt is a bit like the earlier GoT - sex, voilence, lots of characters - and that's not a bad thing.

It was good from the start and different from many other series I've watched and it got better
As mentioned above, lots of characters helped it along
The writers must have been confident that lots of sex was no longer needed, sex was cut back and more blood added
Cheers, appreciated
