I don't think its that bad, its not Breaking Bad or The Wire but its not Classic Car Rescue either

It's a nice gentle early evening show featuring some characters we know and love, I am sure it will grow as well

the impression I got was that Coulson thinks he went to Tahiti to recover but really something had happened to him, which is what Robin from HIMYM was talking about in the first episode

Well after being on hols in Miami I caught up on this last night, sure it was a bit kiddie focused, but I really enjoyed it.

Can't wait for the rest of the series!

After-life
Magical Place

Valhalla?

It's a bit old school, but still quite fun. I hope they develop the characters a bit more as they are all paper thin cliches at the moment.

Due to the viewing figures in the US another 9 episodes have been tagged onto the first season to make a traditional 22 episode season.

I think the characters are developing well, its got a long way to go I think before it finds its feet, but I like the direction its going. The Fury cameo was a nice touch at the end of one of the episodes too.

Episode 3 was much better, though it's still not superhero-y or dark enough like the films for me. But the latest ep was worth it just for this scene...

I thought SLJ phoned it in.

Those watching in the US or via torrent can you please put stuff in Spoiler quotes or just wait until after it airs in the UK please?

I cancelled the series link for this after watching the 2nd episode.

I was hoping it would improve after the first episode but the two plot developments were very obvious

This is starting to feel more and more like Buffy. Coulson is Rupert Giles and the rest are like the school kids, the plane is the library etc etc. For these reasons I think it might work out quite well. Enjoying this week's so far.

last nights episode was abit slow at first I think, the ending part you could just guess would happen, another superhero/villain in the making maybe?

Watched the 3rd episode on catch up, or rather half of it before I pressed the 'off' button.

Slow pace, dialogue is aimed at teenagers and wooden acting.

It is on at 8pm on a Friday night, I'd imagine that's exactly who it is aimed at

What a pile of bland unispiring, non-entertaining poo this show is.

I'm greatly disappointed considering who's behind it.

There's also a huge element of Marvel-overkill going on which doesn't bode well for the future of the franchise.

Currently there are:

Films
TV Show
Cartoons
A Broadway Musical!
Toys
Comics

...and now...

Marvel Universe Live

...an on-tour arena show starring the Avengers, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel etc etc etc

Yawn.

They're not just killing the goose they're fking throttling it for good measure!!!

What pisses me off, apart from the below par acting, is that modded C-17. Meh.

Personally I thought the Avengers was all a bit silly and OTT but I think this (flying car aside) is brilliant. Very light-hearted and watchable. Not everything needs to be dark. It's nice having something a bit colourful to watch. It seems quite similar production wise to the new Knight Rider series which I quite enjoyed but unfortunately got canned.

I am not a teenager.

The scene with Coulson jumping out of the boat in a full suit made me laugh.
The red dress made me rewind.

Still seem to be going with the villan of the week model. I actually expected the boss bloke to end up in the Gravitonium so we had an "Evil Tony Stark" character to play with.
