The question is, where does SHIELD fit into the timeline? I know it's set after Avengers 1, but as they've resurrected Phil somehow, does that mean he'll be in Avengers 2?

For those that are impatient and watch programmes via the stream, its out now as it aired in the US yesterday.

Without going into to much detail, theres lots of references to the movies, spiderman etc etc.

I cant quite put my finger on it, but it does feel very buffy'esq (from what i can remember) mixed in with a bit of Hereo's while feeling very Avengers (no surprise there really).

However, 2 characters have annoyed me already and i imagine their going to grate as the series continues.

However, Colby Smulders does feature in it, in lycra so happy days

It was entertaining. Skye being apprehended in her van had me in stitches.

I'm hoping there more of a story arc than was evident in the pilot, though. A series of standalone episodes won't hold much appeal in the long run.

I'm hoping this turns out to be the show that Heroes should have been, looking forward to it!

Pointers as to where? I don't seem to be able to find on the regular sources...

Agree completely!

"Welcome to Level 7" - without spoilers for me one of the funniest moments of the show.

I couldn't work out if Skye was working for them from the start or if she was recruited

Probably best to avoid spoilers until Friday but really? They had a whole section of the show dedicated to showing Coulsen trying to get her to join the team? The whole grabbing her in an alley? Truth drugging the real agent to get her to trust him? Actually asking her to join at the end of the episode?
In fact the whole pilot was geared around setting up the team and grabbing her because she us smart enough to hack shield was a huge part if that

That's not a spoiler, it's in the trailer.

Good to see the postitive feedback, I've been receiving mixed messages this week.

There is a lot more to that moment than in the trailer wink

Not sure about the mixed messages, it has been very well received in the US both by viewers and critics alike?

I'm undecided about it.

I didn't feel I'd wasted my time watching it but it just doesn't seem to be aimed at the same audience as the Marvel movies.

I'm concerned it's going to be a bit kiddy but will give it a few more episodes before I really start to whinge.

According to my screen that should be spoilered and has spoiler tags when I edit it?

Has it got Cobie Smulders in it?
