I feel sorry for folk in line with UK airing that might have seen the Winter Soldier. Kind of knocks it out of kilter!

Having just watched the latest episode, it does indeed!

What a dramatic turn, never expect this sort of change in a show only in its first season.

I wonder what direction they will go? Seems to me they won't want to do anything major outside of the movies, but who knows!

Just watched the latest episode last night. So they basically cover the entire plot of Winter Soldier in about 30 seconds. Good job I've already seen the film.

Theres a slight twist in the film though so still worth seeing.

What i dont get is the agent levels;
Level 10 - Fury
Level 9 - Im guessing is Coulson
Level 8 - Capt America but then so is May and the other action dude

But youd have though Cap was higher than the other 2 given his abilities

Cap is a tool, an outsider, not a real agent.

In the Ultimates comics (not read them all), he is turned on by SHIELD for being a fake or something...I need to read that one.

That's the original/main marvel universe. The Ultimates was a way to redo origin stories a fee years ago with updates and less magic. Most of the current films sort of veer towards a more Ultimates style. Nic Fury being based on SLJ, and then SLJ playing Fury (himself) being a good example.

Coulson is 8, Maria Hill is probably 9 and the woman with the red streaks might be too, Level 5 is 'grunt', im not sure what level Romanov has, probably 8 too.

Cap is a soldier in an agency of spies, assassins & scientists, and he has an outdated take on what a soldier is.

Skye just got made a shield agent and she's level one. Hill knows about Coulson so has got to be level eight at least.

For those of us on the C4 viewing schedule who have not yet seen Winter Soldier, at what point should we?

Nothing really matters, Ali. But since I haven't seen the film and am in no huge hurry to, I may as well see it at the best time.
