I believe SLJ has done his required contract of films? There was talk that he could come back but it would be unlikely. It was sort of wrapped up, his arc is complete I felt.

Upcoming films are
Guardians of the Galaxy
Avengers 2
Thor 3

What else is planned? Ant Man?

Those & Capt America 3 are the only ones I can recall, there could be more though.

I wasn't sure how many films that Jackson was contracted to do, but I also thought that IM3 was the last of the films that Robert Downey Jr was contracted for, yet I assume/hope he will be back for Avengers 2 so who knows!

Well Jackson is appearing in Age of Ultron (Avengers 2) as Nick Fury so he will be back for that at the least.

AntMan is planned but currently has lost it's director and seems to be a bit in disarray. The release date is set though for the end of next year so they better hire someone soon.

I think the one who is done in Marvel movies is Robert Downey Jnr. Age of Ultron is the last movie in his contract and there are currently no plans for Iron Man 4.

And as to the bloke that "flowers" handed the picture of skye to at the end of the episode:

Could he be the real mandarin? - After all, the bloke in IM3 was just an actor but the "10 rings" are a real organisation (as shown in IM1 when the fella that kidnapped Tony was going on about them) Skye was born in China & if he is her real dad then that would explain why she is a bit different & of interest to Shield?

I'd rather Tony Stark didn't appear again in film if Robert Downey Jnr wasn't playing him.

If he did turn it down though, and they wanted an Iron Man, then they could go with the comic book arc where Tony Stark is incapacitated (in the comics he's become an alcoholic) and Rhodie (War Machine) takes over as Iron Man. But I wouldn't want to see another actor play Tony Stark.

Yes, but they're having trouble finding a director who is willing and available, Edgar Wright has pulled out, Adam McKay has turned it down http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/ant-man/30756/adam.... Release is supposed to be July 2015...

There could be a Nic Fury film? He used to have his own comic.
I don't think it'd be any good, but it could be done.

Age of Ultron...I have hope for this since I rather liked Avengers Assemble.
Damn you Marvel.

If they make Thor 3, I'd like to play Skurge.

Read a rumour that is was going to be Tony Starks half-brother/cousin taking over the Iron Man role

Also read that Capt A will be killed off and 'Bucky' taking over the Capt A suit

Cap has died in the comics before. It'd be a good story.

Robert Downey Jr. has signed on for the forthcoming Age of Ultron and a third Avengers film. Th possibility of another Iron Man film is still in the air.

I'd imagine he is fairly well remunerated for it now. Thor is still my favourite of them though. Iron Man is just a guy in a suit. Thor is a God

I hope they kill off Natalie Portman. She's horribly miscast.

Natalie signed up for two Thor Movies only and didn't want to do the second but was held to it by the studio. I doubt she would sign up to do anymore.

I've decided to give this another go, currently up as far as T.A.H.I.T.I. which is lined up for this evening.
Glad we're seeing some of Coulson's resurrection story. Also, Deathlok!

Important lesson for the new series. Make every episode of the same quality as the last few.

Airing them one after another would help a lot too.

And in the right order.
