Slightly off topic but does anyone happen to know the song Spector puts on his record player at the start of this weeks episode? Mama, bring me my walking cane or words to that effect.
Cheers,
Jim.
It looks like its a version of "Hand Me Down My Walking Cane", but it is usually country so no idea who performed this version.Cheers,
Jim.
I think it's a measure of the story that, during the gory bits my mind wanders and half expects an alien to pop out of his cavity, or his chest to bite off the surgeons hands (as in 'The Thing')...so little am I gripped.
Not sure what's happening - spent the next hour hopping between the Hunter and Paranoid and this - none of them had staying power.
At least whispering detective woman is easy on the eye. Her limp boss 'Sad Cantona' just makes me want to laugh.

Who was the old lady at the end?
Dunno but, from the Guardian (might explain it) -->The Guardian said:
This is a strange little scene; an old woman – I think woman – in the intensive care unit, who mistakes Gibson for her daughter. “Thank God you’re here, I’ve been so worried,” she gasps. “Thank God you’re safe, sweetheart.” And Gibson doesn’t correct her, she sits with her, takes her hand, strokes it; comforts a dying old lady who is going into her own tunnel. And Gibson looks up, thinking about her own mother, maybe. There is a heart in there, somewhere, capable of compassion and love.
