It seems you can live pretty comfortably on benefits as long as you have a few kids and are successful enough to stay off drugs. I'm all for a social net and that nobody should be living in poverty, real poverty I mean, but it all seems too easy on benefits.

Glad to see that PH has kept up with my expectations and virtually everything I've said the OH whilst watching this has been posted in this thread already! smile

Except that big lump on the side of her cheek, looks like the wind's changed direction whilst she's been giving a blowie!

But more seriously, what a fking unrelentingly st life this lot have all got themselves.

Only amusing thing of this last hour. I've purposely avoided this and it's making my skin crawl and blood boil. Brainless.

Indeed, lots of it is their own making though. No one forced the needles into them.

How has that Mum with the panned-in windows managed to get so far without getting her fking head kicked in? I've only seen her for 5 minutes and I want to break her face with a bat.

Tonight is the first time I've watched this. I think I need to turn it off for the sake of my blood pressure.
This is the tamest episode by far.

The first one was the most piss boiling.

Quite. The problem with her daughter is not so much that her step father is dead, but that her mother isn't.

Unfortunately it becomes a self perpetuating cycle though the generations. The kids only see the st that's around them and have no appreciation of a different way of life, they have no aspirations or hope. They are kinda doomed to it.

No quick fix, except conscription. Can't get a job or into further eduction, aged under 20 - into the army you go.
