I did, I thought they were known as crisis loans though,..I didn't realise you could just borrow money to by miscellaneous stuff for the house. I assume it is interest free too?

You could borrow a few grand and start your own pay day loan business!

Many moons ago, a friend of a friend got arrested for drink driving in Merthyr, thrown in the cells pissed as a fart. Next day he was released without charge or warning, turns out someone had nicked his impounded car (a Granada) from the police station car park, he then had to report it stolen and the drink driving disappeared
