Hardly anywhere near the level of the books. Disappointing. The books in their own right are iconic. I like Eragon, and it's a nice universe created by Paulini, same for Percy Jackson, but neither comes close to Enders Game. Both these movies are just a bit of fun fantasy and both failed on so many levels, though their source material was just a bit of fun fantasy.

Ender's game was a psychological drama, and I didn't really feel that in the movie tbh.

It was a real shock in the book when the big reveal came. The film missed that and I think it was weaker for it otherwise it was an ok stab.
