I don't think so, I think it was shifted for something else this week.

He's a knob but as far as the company goes he was a liability - he was making stupid comments to 'customers' in the last series.

Its one thing cold calling but its another to cold call and take the piss/abuse people.

I don't think I've ever met such a depressing, negative self pitying person. He has such a defeatist attitude and nobody will want to hire him after seeing this show. I'd have sacked him a long time ago.

And yet he's the brightest person in there as far as I can see.

Nev does a good job at repurposing people only sharp enough to serve tea and coffee but I can't help but think he's missed a trick with Griff.

Didn't they say he was their best seller?

I wonder what he said on the second call that wasn't broadcast. I expect it wasn't pretty.
They probably let him carry on knowing full well he was abusing people because he was making them money.

Amazed they let him on TV knowing that everytime he was shown he was making somewhat questionnable calls.

Nev is very much selling himself on this programme, as much as he is selling Saving Britain Money.
Not saying it will happen, BUT, as long as the Griff call does not end up going to court, which I doubt, I would not be surprised if somehow Griff, who, lets face its although he has some issues ( I cannot help thinking that they are (cannabis?) related), but is not stupid, ends up working for Nev in some way, and once again, "Nev saves the day/career/ livelehood" of Griff.

Griff was a darn sight more interesting that chickenface or whatever he was called..

I did wonder whether Nev was actually going to sack Griff in front of the cameras or whether that should be done in private

Odd that

If you are depressed you generally don't do well in that trade - large brush theory but generally correct.
He appeared to have a dry humour throughout other episodes which stood him well.
I would guess simple burnout at the job.

Oh and I wouldn't trust his "gadget" much either.

Bright enough to know his life is pretty crap, not bright enough to do anything about it...

I like him, but the way he has been portrayed, he is his own worst enemy. I wonder how he actually is in real life?

If you had an ounce of intellignece you would go spare after the volume of call they must have to make. Nev did mention Chicken head was particularly thick, as are a few others that allow them to just get on with it as insults bounce off them.

I dont know how intelligent Griff is, certainly cynical enough
