The Returned (Les Revenants) - C4 21:00
Discussion
The series as a whole built a really creepy atmosphere, there were some fantastic characters and the soundtrack was superb.
Personally not fussed that it was not presented to us all wrapped up in a bow in the last episode.
It left me thinking and wanting more.
Have not been so drawn into a TV drama since This Is England.

Was that flooded town in the last scene the old town that has resurfaced due to the dam level dropping or their current town that has flooded due to the dam bursting?.
The dead pretty much know who is dead, they wouldn't need to see Serge and his Mum to know they were in the building would they?.
Why do some rot?. The toilet drinker was nearly a Zombie, yet Mrs Costa looks fresh as a daisy with no visible crusty patches.

That's essentially what I meant by asking what year it was - the view looked like the flood from 35 years ago (not the village beneath the lake, but the town as it was flooded when the dam burst).redtwin said:

So why did they collect all the other dead other than serge and the unborn baby? The dead pretty much know who is dead, they wouldn't need to see Serge and his Mum to know they were in the building would they?.

Well it's not like he could kill them again is it?
The only question that really burns me is Julie. Was she dead all along? The idea was recycled for Lucy, but that's one that could have been easily answered for us.
Not kill them dead, however when simon was stabbed it seemed to cause him pain so maybe the rest of the dead don't fancy being stabbed and eaten? The only question that really burns me is Julie. Cheers, I didn't spot the tower blocks on Sunday.
Are my colleagues and I right in surmising that the whole story has taken place over about a week so far?
There was the part in the last episode showing Camille coming back from the bus crash with the caption '1 week ago', so going by that, yes it was 1 week from Camille coming back, to the flooded town at the end.Are my colleagues and I right in surmising that the whole story has taken place over about a week so far?
