If I'm seeing it right, Victor has visions or some such power that does his will to others??
Didn't victor save the woman he's 'lodging' with?
He didn't help the women in the flat on the same landing though.

This is an intriguing show...so much so that I'm not noticing that it's actually subtitled.
Anyone else notice that some of the English adverts were subtitled in French?. There is no way that's a technical glitch this time. hehe

The scar on Lena's back is getting bigger, no?.

The Police captain must surely know now that Simon has returned from the dead. Can't possibly be thinking it's a stolen identity or similar.

The advert subtitles are not a glitch, just a nice touch by C4. Engligh ads with french subtitles, not the other way round as is the case with the series.

Another excellent episode, i am really liking this. I reckon Victor the kid is either God or The Devil

Yep, and they also showed French adverts with English subtitles on the first ad break of episode 1.

I usually skip through the ads so never noticed that. My remote finger was slow off the mark (need to work on that) which is why I saw the French subtitled ones.

I've found I can watch this in about half an hour, simply because it's subtitled and I can read them without having to wait while they're actually spoken, thus can run through the whole thing at x2 speed. I don't seem to be losing out much on the plot.

Repeated resurrections driven by ghosts from a village drowned when the dam went in, I reckon...
Thought something similar myself! Something about the way the camera lingered over the dam and town in a shot from the first episode. It made me wonder what had been upstream in the valley before it was dammed and what destruction had been caused when it was filled. Thats when Victor died methinks.

Also i think mr costa knew exactly what was going on as soon as his wife arrived and she seems to be fairly nonplussed so far too. Victors defo been back before so im guessing she may have too.

Here you go then, here are the subtitles for all of series 1 - http://www.addic7ed.com/show/3138#

Ps. I have used them as I have got the original French version on my media server, but I have only got them for re-watching, like I have with Game of Thrones. I haven't watched any that haven't been transmitted in the UK.

Apparently there is a new american tv series on the way. Its about people coming back from the dead exactly as they were with no memory of dying. Its a global event but the story focuses on a small town. Its called 'the returned' after the recently released book of the same name by a first time author. Weird eh?

Sneaky suspicion the author saw the french film that this series is based on and thought no one would notice. Cheeky fecker.

I missed episode 1 but could victor be the woman's son? Maybe she was pregnant when attacked?

Is girls scar changing?

Is the guy who got hit with a shovel last week the killer? He had blood around his mouth.

Wasn't the bar owner hit by the shovel? he'd just shot a wolve a couple of times (as you do)

This series is just absolutely absorbing.

Just when you think you have and idea of what's going on it turns around, smacks you in the face and calls you a stupid Rosbiff imbecile.

Certainly filling a Game of Thrones sized hole at the moment. In fact I'm enjoying this even more than the recent series.
