I've been watching more through...various means. Going to finish the series off tonight I think, two eps to go.

Here's what happens:

I'm not telling!

Right can no-one reveal the spoiler above so it doesn't wreck it for the rest of us? mad

Thoroughly enjoying this series & still not sure which way it's going to go confused I reckon the thoughts about what happened upstream from the dam might be onto something but I did wonder if there was a bit of a mothman thing going on with the leaking dam, natural disaster waiting to happen?

Also it was interesting on Sunday nights broadcast the announcer mentioned not noticing everything the first time you watched them so are there clues that we're missing?

I noticed what the announcer said about missing things. With the posts earlier by four wheel drift and redtwin about the policemen at Mr Costa's, I'm wondering whether there's a very small extra in the 4od versions of the episodes compared to the televised show, by C4 or the French, as part of the whole thing, or for gits and shiggles.

I haven't noticed it since (and I have been looking) so that policeman thing probably was just a broadcast glitch as I was watching the "live" broadcast, not 4OD.

I missed hearing the announcer mention missing things. biggrin

What's the point though? I've no idea why people feel the need to do this in forums about the show while the episodes have yet to be aired?

Perhaps saying "I know what happens do pm me if you want the details" doesn't give enough kudos, who knows?

I've got an acquaintance a bit like that, forever texting & banging stuff up on social media as soon as he knows something about anything that people may not have seen yet. Isn't it a form of sociopath or something? Anyway, he's a weirdo whatever you call it, a fking annoying weirdo especially when he spoilt the result of the senior TT for a load of us the other week when the broadcast was delayed, the twunt.

It's not on the original Canal+ broadcast one so must have been a glitch on the C4 one.

Because, my angry little gnome, it reveals nothing. As if I would ruin it.

So, tonight's episode then?

Victor, killed with his family by baddies with guns 35 years ago. I think he's got some kind of power, and made the woman in the other flat top herself last week. The Helping Hand guy could be next, after the 'sing a song that's in your head' line, it seems like they are making him out to be the guy in the mask saying the the same thing when he was killed? Victor was in the wardrobe so wouldn't have been recognised. Running a shelter could be his way of fixing a 'previous life' as a crim who wasn't really into it (trying to protect Victor in the wardrobe).

Lena and Camille, the scar, violent dad? weirderer and weirderer.

Pumping the dam out, the top of something was showing, probably a church steeple.

Who is the next episode about? Mrs Costa?

Watched it on 4+1 as Top Gear seemed to run into the start.

All I can say is naughty Pierre 35 years ago and is Psychic Lucy the reason behind it all then.

Not giving anything away, but out of interest, the steeple sticking out of the water is real. It's the original village of Tignes before the damn was built in the 50's. Location stuff & all that.

And why did the scar grow?

I do think the scar is because of Camille. Lena bunked off the deadly school trip so she could stay home and shag Camille's bloke. The ultimate stab in her sister's back I think.

Camille's return is redressing the balance, Lena is now feeling how it feels to be stabbed.

An injury a year ago wouldn't suddenly start festering now.

Then again, the dead don't usually come back. Bigger forces at work.

Yeah that was what I was suggesting. The scar/wound on her back did not appear naturally as the result of an injury a year ago. It is Camille's doing, probably subconsciously. She hasn't been "dead" for as long as Victor so probably isn't aware or in control of her ghost abilities as he is.

I'm thinking it's all about retribution - all of them have been badly wronged. Not sure how that theory ties in with the serial killer though.....!?

Why did Simon shoot himself though, the day of his Wedding. If he had been wronged he wouldn't have been so keen to see Adele again and carry on as normal.

This is so good because we aren't told things, we spot them for ourselves and nothing is being (ironically) subtitled unlike some programmes that need no thinking to follow an obvious plot.

None of them recall what happened to them do they? At least not at the outset of their returning.
