The problem with TPB & the reason these threads never get very far is that although hilarious, as time went by it went off the boil.

There's only so many capers you can shoe horn in where the protagonists start out on parole & end up back in jail again by the end of episode eight.

Lahey though is the absolute star of the show. I gather that in Canada he's a household name, well known for soaps & serious roles, I've not seen a better on screen drunk than him - highpoint for me was Lahey waking up in the paddling pool with the roof missing from the car.

I used to have these on DVD, fantastic television. I only had the first few seasons though. Very funny stuff.

I disagree Justin, they got better as they went on.
Series 8 was arguably the best of the lot, the whole Swayze train and Sebastian Bach story line was fantastic

Well these things are subjective, I've watched every season, all the movies & a few documentaries that were made on it & formed the view that they effectively were peddling one gag for ten years - but if you love it that's all that matters st bird.
