as i get older and more cynical , i find i take a long time to get used to anything new on tv.
so even a bad series of tpb would be better than something new because i understand the premise and mostly know the characters. i do hope it is written well.

I was the same for a long time, then I discovered It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Not quite the same as TPB, but 11 seasons of amazing 20ish mins an episode comedy.

I watch TPB out of loyalty to the earlier seasons now, as they were amazing, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for some belly laughs tomorrow.

My two youngest boys love It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. But like Jasxjr I didn't get used to it being new. The clips I've seen from TPB11 look good. Something also tells me they'll have matured and developed with age. I've got a positive hope for this season. Almost tempted to stay up and watch them back to back marathon style as not in work until Monday...

In theory, it should be available to me in 30 mins, I've never stayed up for a midnight airing!

I've not quite got through it all yet (though I'm on my fourth episode this evening!) The liquor captain was a highlight!
