I'm really enjoying this season so far. Seems like the script writers have found their mojo again. Some good one liners "Bunchy, go to bed...you have a wife and kids now, and Mickey is a fking idiot".

Great to have Cochrane back too. "Thank you, I was great, you were st"

Caught up with the last two episodes last nigh, bee busy watching the Olympics. Good episodes. Going to be a massive show down / shoot out with the Russian mob.

One of the better seasons this one is. Seem to be heading towards focusing more on his job and the dodgy dealings of hollywood which is good.

yes
Much better, less kid horsest.
Also....I like Ray's dad...maybe it was the decent plan, or them getting on.

Loved the dance off with the son, but then the story flicked to how much of a loser the son is...ffs...just have thew son/daughter killed.

Yup, also hope they do another one. Really pleased with the ending of that series, without giving it away it didn't end how I expected but did end how I wanted.

Kept expecting a dark and nasty bomb to drop right up to the last second even holding on for something post credits.

Felt like that ending left it more open to possible cancellation (hope not).

Good series. I enjoyed the first series, thought it lost its way in series 2 but got it back in the last 2.

Eddie Marsan is excellent, he's been good in everything I have seen him in but he really excels as Terry IMO.

Ray needs a new Benz. The 2012 CLS550 is looking a bit long in the tooth. They need to get him an S63 for series 5. wink

Eddie Marsan, I didn't realise he was British straight away.

But he was the narrator for season 1 of "Hunted" which makes its return this evening. Great acting by him.

Always liked Marsden.

That was a good series. Much better than previous, pushing the crappy kids into the background helps a loit, as does Rayray and dad getting on the same page finally.

I'm glad it'll return, I hope it keeps it up.

Question; where is Ray's money from the NFL investment?

Hope we see the douchebag FBI bloke again.

Pretty sure that deal went south. My overriding memory of S3 is Mickey, the mobsters, and the shooting of Terry and Ray.

I think the NFL deal went wrong in a number of ways, possibly including the franchise move being blocked and/or the land deal falling through. I remember Lovejoy getting killed off but don't recall want happened to the daughter or business empire.

I vaguely recall that Ray did a swift one and made a deal with the daughter? Getting his tiny share of an NFL thing...but not sure...

But the heart of the episode resided in the deal Paige wanted to make to buy that NFL team — the deal that, if it went through, would snag Ray three percent of the team ownership. Ray rarely pins his hopes on anything — he’s a cynic who doesn’t believe much in hope — but this time, he was hoping to re-make his own business model and save his marriage in the bargain. You kinda knew it wasn’t going to happen, but thanks to the script from Michael Tolkin, you probably didn’t see how it would fail.

When the governor Finney has bribed fails to win reelection, the football deal falls through, but not before Paige hands over something valuable to leverage her father into accepting the football-deal terms: “a love letter… from my father to my husband… a break-up letter,” Paige tells Ray. “That was the deal: the letter for the team.”

Currently half way through S4 and I think its the best season to date, shocking moments, hilarious moments aplenty.

Nearly stopped watching after the 2nd and 3rd series but so glad I stuck with it.

Just saw an advert, it was during the break for the show that shall not be named, saying this is coming back on 16th August!

Fingers crossed they've kept the writing team.
