I read the entire season will follow this format, which is crap. I also don't like it when major plot details are withheld from the viewer whilst main characters are learning of them, eg, the camera pulling back as a doctor tells a character X information then zooms back in once he's finished.

Eh? Clear Abby died, she refused cancer treatment in last series, thank god we didn't have the drawn out illness to watch when we just want to see Ray being Ray and fixing film industry f

I thought the same , even went back to watch the last episode of season 4.

Yeah, I’m quite surprised how bad this series has been so far, however, I think I’ve only seen the first two episodes.I can’t see it changing much TBH! It’s a completely different style of writing which presumably has already continued throughout the series.
It’s like an alternative history Ray Donovan. All this sentimentality never existed before. The actors are the same but they now seem to be playing completely different characters.

Not liking the new series at all. First 2 episodes have been dull, how long can you drag out the story that she died.
Doesn't bode well, you would think that for a show heading into its 5th season the season openers would be designed to grab you and keep the audience and the first 2 are doing the opposite.
I'll stick with it as there isn't much else on at the mo.
