Ray's coming back!
Rather than a final series, it's going to be a Feature Length Episode, or 'TV Movie' as I think they used to call it.
Anyway, there's going to be a proper ending. Ray, Micky and whiney Daughter confirmed.

I’m upset it isn’t another season.
Definitely had one last season in it.
I love this program-the Donovan’s make my family seem almost normal.
Perhaps there will be a feature length tie up way beyond the appropriate time like DeadwoodDefinitely had one last season in it.

Deadwood was a great series, it really can hold it's head up with those other HBO giants of TV, but I couldn't get into the film, 13 years after the series last aired, I couldn't bring myself to go back and watch it again to remember all the plot points.

For some reason I have low expectations of a film
Maybe because it will need to accommodate people who never watched the series
Tempted to go back and watch series 1, a simpler time of being a fixer to the stars
Agree with this regarding the film. I rarely watch film spin offs of series I’ve enjoyed. Made the mistake of watching El Camino after Breaking Bad. Maybe because it will need to accommodate people who never watched the series

I’ll still watch it though when it’s released.

The Deadwood film was brilliant, and fitting.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
