Sure they will. When all is said and done think of the money at stake.JGL maybe starting out as Batman then getting brutally killed and unmasked setting the stage for the real Batman to return? Would be a shocker like Vader being Luke's dad, especially if they keep it quiet.

Remember the lies around Khan not being the villain in the last Star Trek film. Rest easy, Bale will be back.

I still resent Superman being shown as a murderer who allowed his city to be destroyed in the last film. Henry looked the part at least even if his acting was a bit wooden. Bale is a proper actor with real presence and he IS Batman. There's just no way they will gamble on someone else. different if DKR had debuted a decade ago but this Batman is still fresh in everyone's mind and mentally bankable.

...and so it begins.

The rumours have started flying as apparently Christian Bale has been offered $50 million do appear as Batman in the new film.

I can't link to it as I am at work, but google 'Christian Bale Batman' and check the news section.

If you could et odds I'd place money on it. Forget your artistic integrity, its all about money and actors will ultimately we themselves for it, no mater what they say. No that its a bad thing either, Bale IS Batman, moody voice an all!

The only old bloke who even remotely has the physique of batman is Sly Stallone.

Bale looked too wimpy in that last film.

You're probably right. Sly is amazing, shame he's too short...he's actually a decent actor as well. The only other one who is vaguely similar is AhNold. He fits the DK from TDKR very well.

Ok, you two aren't allowed anywhere near batman anymore. It's for your own good.

It's happening. If done right it's a good way to introduce a new batman. For the record i'd infinitely prefer bale but still not holding my breath.

Bale has categorically stated he will not do another Batman film. Given how moralistic and dare I say, pretentious Bale can be I can't see him going back on such a strong statement as that.

That's ok, this is a Superman film, not a Batman film. hehe

Bale will do it if he like the story, or the money, but getting Sups into the DK setting will be harder than getting a new Bat into the Superman world.

From what I have read it isn't a Superman film or a sequel, it is a Superman/Batman film.

It has the potential to suck donkey dick bigtime.
Relying too much on CGI will help enable that. It more rests on the direction with Bats than Supes.

From what I read the first superpowered person will be in Arrow soon.
