Saw it last night-really enjoyable.Chap walked into the screening alone, just before the film started and started shouting Dan,Dan,Dan as he walked up the steps to find a seat.
No reaction from anyone, but as he walked past me I could hear him mumbling to himself that it was supposed to be a joke.
Yep,I know,cool story bro!

Went to see it tonight and loved it. Like a few of you, the Michael bit at the end was proper laugh out loud, just for the stupidity of it. "Hey Pat, over here! Oh st....."
I love the attention to detail in his house. Brands Hatch experience day certificate, painting of a Spitfire, the Goldfinger Aston model in his "Business Centre" (probably got that when the BBC sacked him) and a photo of him infront of Delia and her husband at a Norwich match.

He is a petrolhead and has had various Astons/Ferrari's/Porsche's.
And the Lexus in 2nd series of I'm Alan Partridge was badged an IS200 as "that was what Alan would buy", but was actually an IS300 as "that was what Steve would buy".
True story.

Crabsticks do not actually contain any crab and from 1993, manufacturers have been legally obliged to lable them 'Crab flavoured sticks'. Another one of those same time tomorrow.

(One for the DVD extra viewers there )
the characters looked so much older than in their last outings on TV that I felt sort of sad - maybe realising that I am that much older too!
some funny moments in there and anyone that enjoyed Partridge's previous incarnations should go and see it
if you have never seem Partridge before, this isn't the introduction that you need

Didn't you think Alan looked younger after the overuse of latex in series 2? Plus he should be 58 by now, but he claims to be 55 in the film. But that's just me splidding hairs.....cupofbeans said:

Seriously...it was On Deadly Ground bad. I really can't think of anything I have EVER wanted to walk out of more.
I get AP....I'm no geeky fan boy but I get it, the TV shows are funny...I "get" the humor....I like Coogan.
But wow.....just shockingly bad. 1/10 and the 1 was all in the trailer. In fact, the Colossal Velocity trailer is better than the film.
I take it back....0.2/10

When I made Saxondale I thought that because Tommy sees himself as some kind of lonesome American free spirit, the Mustang would suit him.
So I made the researchers find exactly the same car as my model.
The actual Mach 1 used in Saxondale was owned by a woman on the Mustang Owners Club forum ... sadly it was written off about three years ago.So I made the researchers find exactly the same car as my model.
Mixed reviews on here it seems.
I get the impression that Alan Partridge fans love it and anyone else hates it?
Personally I thought it was hilarious. First film I have seen in a while that made me laugh openly in many places. But a lot of the laughs involved knowing the character well perhaps, so that could probably explain the mixed feelings?
Anyway for me it was 8.5/10. Worked brilliantly
