'Building Jerusalem' for those who like Rugby. Documentary following English rugby culminating in the 2003 world cup. Lots of discussion with Clive Woodward, Martin Johnson and Jonny Wilkinson.

Killjoys, if you like a bit of sci-fi. I'm about 4 episodes in, and it's very watchable.

Managed to sit my football mad 10 year old son down to watch it. He was engrossed, the build up, the excitement, the commitment.

Got to the start of extra time in the world cup final, after 1hr30mins of the programme, only for my wife to walk in, look at the TV and say, 'Is this the one where Johnny scored in the last second?'

The young offenders - bit of silliness but worth a watch.

Not long till iron fist. Really looking forward to that!
It's been critically panned sadly.
meh - what do critics know? Build something up just to tear it down again (in this case MCU). I'm enjoying it

I'm looking for a new series to binge on after finishing series 1&2 of Line of Duty. I gave Top Boy a try, but couldn't understand a bloody word they were saying rolleyes I'm tempted to give Peaky Blinders a go, any good?
There is some story there. Sometimes it's a bit WTF but it can entertain.

7 in. I'm confused. It wants to be good. But somehow appears to be missing the mark. Then I see a trailer with something that clearly comes later and I'm interested again.

I think a problem a lot of these shows have is there simply isn't enough story.

Not sure if I've mentioned this, however Santa Clarita Diet.

It's brilliant, very funny, each episode is only half an hour and it stars the rather lovely Drew Barrymore.

Hope they're going to do a second series, we loved this, too.

I'd assumed they were hour or 45 minute episodes, half and hour a go gives me more reason to pull my finger out and watch it smile

Finished the Detectorists (which is lovely gentle british comedy) and started Dirk Gently (which isn't) but I'm enjoying it.

American Odyssey (conspiracy thriller-esque), wasn't sure after first couple of episodes but persevered and glad I did!
Unfortunately no second series.

+1 for Santa Clarita Diet.

I watched it all last weekend; the wife wasn't feeling well so she went to bed early a couple of nights, I watched it in 2 sittings.

I recently watched something called “The One I Love”, Netflix call it a rom-com and it briefly sets out that way but it’s so much more than that and well worth a watch.

I'm currently half way through season 2 of Rake, the Aussie TV series. It the best thing I've watched on Netflix for a while. Thanks to whoever mentioned it earlier in this thread.
Agree totally, just finished S1 and loved it.
