Started watching Line of Duty yesterday, watched 4/5 episodes of series 1 and it was really good. 8/10.
Best British drama for years, try and finish the ones on Netflix quickly so you can watch series 3 whilst it's still on iPlayer

I think we have 2 more of season 2 to watch now. Season one was amazing! Great series. I really can't stand Arnott and Flemming though!!!

Really excited to finish season 2 and start season 3.

The Signal. If you like Sci-Fi then this one's for you. Not sure where the bad reviews came from, I think some people saw Lawrence Fishburne and then didn't realise it was a fairly low budget film (which doesn't impact it in any way).

I avoided this due to the low stars. Maybe give it a look.

Watched the Barkley Marathons which as a runner, I really enjoyed. It's a race which started in 1985 and only about 20 people have ever finished!!

Is there a 2nd series of making a murderer being made. Loved the first like many people on here and would love to know how this pans out

I see that Moneyball has just been added. Might give this another watch at some point as I vaguely remember that it was pretty good

We finally got round to watching season 1 of The Killing.

What a great series, really excellent acting.

It must have been recommended on here before so, Tag For Dat.

Don't know who recommended Halt & Catch Fire, but thank you very much.

Needed a new series to get into that doesn't revolve around vampires, dragons or cops that don't play by the rules.

The missus is rather totty as well

On recommendation, I started watching Peaky Blinders. Binged watched the first five episodes. It's pretty addictive stuff.

Started watching Peaky Blinders too-very very good so far!

Also just finished the fourth season of house of cards
Plot spoilers ahead!
I loved the interplay between Conway and Frank, and felt this season was so much better than season 3. The twist where Frank got shot was a real kick which I didn't see coming and that very dark season ending sets stuff up for a potentially very scary season 5

Watched all the series of House of cards in about two weeks. I really need to get out more (but it was superb)

Look who's back. Not what I expected and messes with your head a little.

Third.

Watched it after the suggestion on this thread and it's actually a really good little movie. The low budget is fairly evident but at the same time it makes it feel more intimate and personal. Really didn't see where it was heading either. Well worth the time.

Watched this last night.

Wasn't expecting the premise that Hitler wakes up in modern Berlin and is mistaken for a comedian to be much, but I enjoyed it. Some thought provoking stuff in there, along with neat nods to other films like Downfall.

Pleased that they were allowed to film around landmarks such as Brandenburg Gate and to get reactions from real Germans. Much better than insisting it all be hidden away and never discussed.

Smiler.

Finally watched The Assets. Very good I thought, but not a popular style of programme in the US it seems.

Agreed. Watched it last week after seeing it recommended here. An interesting ending, and, because it was made in 2014, very topical too.

There's a new French drama available - 'Marseille' lots of Machiavellian behaviour around the mayor, played by Gerard Depardieu. I believe it's the first foreign language series commissioned by Netflix.

Just finished this, some of it I think became a bit obvious in terms of how it ended but only some. I had suspicions early on about part of it but there were plenty of bits it's threw at you that you didn't expect and it possibly even went further than it needed to with some of it (trying not to put spoilers).

The use of CGI wasn't overdone and what they did have had a really cool ascetic to it.

5/5 for me.
