Not sure if mentioned yet but we watched 1st episode of Spotless last night. Nice bit of black humour. Too early to judge but it's looking good based on first episode.
I finished it last week and found it got better as it went on. The final episode is a goodun!!

I've not read the entire thread so sorry if its been mentioned.

Trailer park boys is brilliant, the 10 seasons would suggest others agree lol.

It takes a few episodes to get going but had me laughing harder than anything In a long time. So hard in fact I frightened the dog.

I really enjoyed Spotless, definitely one to watch and I hope a second series is on the way!

Agreed, it gets better as it goes along.

Faults - 8/10

About a guy who helps unbrainwash people from cults but he's lost his mojo.

Independent vibe with a bit of a darker comedy approach. Quite dry. I liked it, made you think!

Smiler.

Don't know who recommended Halt & Catch Fire, but thank you very much.

Needed a new series to get into that doesn't revolve around vampires, dragons or cops that don't play by the rules.

The missus is rather totty as well
I'm hooked on this. Those two also played a couple in Argo.

Watched the whole series of The Getdown yesterday - been looking forward to it since seeing the trailers a while back and really enjoyed it - it follows a bunch of kids in The Bronx back in the days of disco and the emergence of hip hop, a story interspersed with real footage and events from those days, along with fictional versions of Grandmaster Flash, Kool Herc etc. Great soundtrack, and good story - looking forward to season 2....

Gotham season 2 is now up. The first season is stronger but still all well worth a watch. It follows the life of a young Bruce Wayne and introduces you to a huge number of villains from the comics

Been catching up on Gotham as I missed the CH5 start and hate missing episodes. Looking forward to season 2.

However.

Green Wing. CH4 series? Quite witty

Aye it was good, a very fair assessment from your good self! You probably have to be in a particular sort of mood to enjoy it I'd think, perhaps that's why the low rating.

Apologies if it has been mentioned already but "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is genius! Really, really funny but I do like shows such as Trailer Park Boys which some of my friends think is a bit too specialist!

Yup, loved this show. Now binge watching Community - I think there would be a big cross over in fans of both shows.
