Shooter. Netflix Original series of the Wahlberg film which is a guilty pleasure of mine. Just watched the first one and thought it was pretty good actually. Cant binge as it looks like its being released weekly.

I'm in.
Thanks for that, will give it a go. I really enjoyed the Shooter film too.

I have recently discovered Still Game and cannot for the life of me understand how I missed this when it was on TV in the early 2000's.

Absolutely brilliant comedy.

Mrs G and my good self have just gorged ourselves on the first two series and are now trying to pace ourselves on S3 just to make it last.
IIRC it wasn't shown in all BBC regions

Glitch

Aussie production, a bit lower budget than American stuff, but nice scenery and a relaxed film with an edge, but comes off quite original as well.
Just finished Glitch really enjoyed this. I think I started watching Les Revenants a few years back, but couldn't get in to it (think my eldest watched it and updated me). Glitch is a great gem. Loved the characters and their back stories. Each episode had something going for it and left me wanting for the next.

If you enjoyed Stranger Things, 80s Stephen King and similar this might be for you.

Hope there's a second series soon!

Also reminded me of Banshee, possibly due to the small town and fit Sheriff.

Wondering if I could ask the gallery for a suggestion: I'm looking for a documentary that gives an idiot an introduction into Oil & Gas exploration. Anyone seen anything on (UK) Netflix (or on Prime actually) that fits the bill?

Another Australian gem. Paper Planes just a good old fashioned feel good family film about a lad and his Father recovering from the death of Mother/wife respectively. Boy finds solace in making paper aeroplanes.
All the typical characters from the mad Granddad, inspiring teacher, love interest to the widowed Father, arrogant rival competitor and playground bully-come-good.

Easy to watch, with or without children, funny, thought provoking, would be great for any budding adventurers/engineers.

I thought the first series of Les Revenants was great, the second series was harder going, I lost interest in the C4 showing and finished it on Netflix. Haven't seen the original film or any of the remakes. So Glitch is good?

They have just added another two seasons of "Highway thru hell".

A fly on the wall documentary about a heavy wrecking crew in Cananda. Reality TV does not get much better than this (I'm sure I've mentioned this program before).

E1 of S3 is a bit grim.

Good to see Das Boot but the theatrical version isn't a patch on the full length film.

I'm currently watching Dr Strangelove which is a welcome recent addition.

Agreed on Das Boot. Proper version is knots better than the 'cut to pieces' short version.

Sort of getting hooked by that.

It does have wondering though.

Dirty Grandpa just been added - I loved this, for a brain-out comedy, and DeNiro is excellent in it

I really enjoyed the show. Been on quite a few of the roads when I've visited Canada, and it does fail to get the scale across properly though. It's staggering to be on a full on three lane motorway that's not just descending down through some fog, but down through the clouds.

I've watched Auschwitz The Final Solution twice, albeit with a decent gap between viewings. What never fails to chill me are the interviews with those who were there.
