Well I have just finished watching Einsatzgruppen and I can honestly say it's the most disturbing thing I have watched for a long time.

On a slightly lighter note, I watched Sour Grapes last night. It's a documentary about a chap who became very well-connected in the wine world in the US but then got busted for selling fake vintage wine at huge prices. Well worth a watch if you're interested in wine.

I am on episode 50-something of Pablo Escobar, Patron del Mal

It's not quite as good as Narcos and it was a slow start. I nearly gave up after episode 3, but it tells the same story differently and with archive footage.

I was watching that and took a break as I wasn't really watching anything else, must get back in to it as I did really enjoy it.

Just finished episode two. That is enough for me for now. Harrowing.

When I was young, WWII seemed like forever ago. Now I cannot believe how recent it was.

BLACK BOOK is a very watchable piece of WWII hokum. Don't let the Dutch dialogue with English sub titles put you off

Succeeded in blowing my young kids' minds with the first episode of Cosmos this morning. Worth it for the time perspective/context alone.

If you don't know it, it's the American version of Planet Earth but about space/time and a whole lot more. This is the follow up Neil deGrasse (who is excellent) series of the original Carl Sagan series. Accessible and humbling; it is a great introduction to science for kids (and adults!).

I keep sitting My 4 year old in front of Cosmos, in the hope of growing a genius. So far it isn't working.

I will persist.

They have just added another two seasons of "Highway thru hell".

A fly on the wall documentary about a heavy wrecking crew in Cananda. Reality TV does not get much better than this (I'm sure I've mentioned this program before).

E1 of S3 is a bit grim.
First couple of seasons were pretty good eh. Not enjoying the third season quite so much.

I've finished S3 now and it was as good as the first two. The grim reference in E1,S3 was to them recovering a wreck that had a fatality in it.

They have moved North and split their operation, damned cold up there and some massive wrecks.

Still highly recommend watching this if anyone is a fan of the likes of Goldrush etc.

The wrecks are still good, but splitting the team has lost a lot of the human interest, too many people moving around randomly and random new faces turning up and hardly being seen again.

I thought the first series of Les Revenants was great, the second series was harder going, I lost interest in the C4 showing and finished it on Netflix. Haven't seen the original film or any of the remakes. So Glitch is good?
As a big fan of Les Revenants, decided to give The Glitch a try.

It doesn't feel as slow burning as Les Revs, a bit like the lite version, so I would say give it a whirl.

Labyrinth Of Lies

The story of how the German Authorities started to wake-up, accept and prosecute the atrocities perpetrated by the Nazi regime during WW2.

I'm inclined towards a complete 10/10.

The scene at Auschwitz is ........gulp......

ETA...SORRY!...it's on Amazon Prime. Still a must-watch though!
