Who cares if the beanie hat DID make her look like the Edge smile
We are getting well into this, getting better chemistry with the cast as it goes on
Watched the first few episodes and not made my mind up yet. Think the second was better than the first and was fairly funny so will try a few more over the weekend.
Thought Ms. Barrymore looked a lot more middle aged than I've ever noticed before. Maybe the darker hair didn't help.

To be fair to her, she is 41 now...

Precinct Seven Five.

Blimmin' eck.

(no apologies for posting this in Good Documentaries too - well worth a watch).

Brilliant isn't it, surprised it's not been made into a proper film yet (or series) - how they lived their lives like that is beyond me, I'd never sleep

Really wanted to get into this, wife and I instantly enjoyed the trailer and watched two episodes straight away. It's potentially great but there was something about the Drew Barrymore's acting and the script that we couldn't get on with. Not quite funny enough to be an off-the-wall sitcom, not deep and sharp enough to be a cooky drama. We'll try it again no doubt, but with so many great things to watch (or-rewatch, -currently going through GoT again from episode 1) it needed to grab us a bit harder.

The Santa Carlita diet gets better and better. I wasn't sure at first but it gave me some real laugh out loud moments

The OA, couple in and not really sure.
On the other had The Detectorists is a lovely little piece of gentle comedy.

Your life is too short to spend some of it on the OA.

My two pennorth, having shortened mine.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but loads of Stewart Lee stuff is now on Netflix. I don't agree with his political views, but he really does know how to deliver a decent stand up show!

Not sure if it's been mentioned or even made it to Netflix UK yet, but I just got through 'Abstract - The Art of Design' and thought it was superb.

If you're into design, it's really interesting. I hope it's something they make a long-running series out of. Caveats are one or two of the designers featured are a bit 'lovey' and I can't see it striking a chord with everyone on PH but I really liked it a lot.

What they said. The OA warning really needs to be made a sticky post at the top in this forum.

iBoy. One off Netflix original film.

I think the best way to describe it is Harry Brown meets Mr Robot meets Skins. It's ok but ridiculous at the same time.
Due to reading this I watch iboy and enjoyed it.

I've only attempted to watch a couple of episodes. Thought it was quite tedious. Then when a friend explained what "OA" means, I'm glad I didn't spend any more time on it.

There are plenty of other good shows on netflix, Santa Clarita diet is cracking fun.
