The world before her

nice documentary on modern day India. features two women - one aiming to be miss India and the other being a devout Hindu.

If the english people feel their identity is being lost - in India its like a full frontal assault on the traditional indians holding on to past values.

A Hijacking:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2216240/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Starring Pilou Asbæk, Søren Malling, Dar Salim from Danish TV series, such as the Killing and Borgen.

From IMDB: "The crew of a Danish cargo ship is hijacked by Somali pirates who proceed to engage in escalating negotiations with authorities in Copenhagen"

Superb acting and very grounded. Quite the antidote to Captain Phillips! Which I also enjoyed, but this is a very different story, and I imagine far more common.

So surprised not to see the blacklist in here!

Great twist on the classic crime detective series and James Spalder (might recognise his voice (and eyebrows!) from a certain new marvel film trailer... you need netflix us mind!

Another one that has been mentioned before is Archer, so so funny, some jokes are so subtle and dark. Watch that on netflix uk as we get all 5 series rather than 4.

Continuum series 1 to 3 on US Netflix. Have seen it advertised on the Syfy channel but never really fancied it. Smashed through the lot recently and really enjoyed it.

Mr Brooks. A Kevin Costner as a serial killer, really very good.

Really good film. Harrowing and nice at the same time. Difficult to explain.

Regular Show.

Brilliant!

It's like a marginally subtler and more surreal Beavis and Butthead. Shame they only have 2 seasons on at the mo.

Incidentally, anyone using a Sony Smart TV to watch Netflix - has yours stopped working in the last couple of days too?

Just watched it, and I see what you mean. Good film, didn't realise it was based on a true story, made it all the more worth watching

A film called Hot Rod.

Completely silly, but is making me laugh. smile

Lead character reminds me of Daniel Ricciardo for some reason.

Hot Rod is one of the funniest films I've ever seen.
